Thanks, and we do plan to complain regardless when it finally arrives, in the hope of some sort of compensation. We've been sat on garden recliners since we moved in end of march. Being a big highstreet name you would think they would be more than reliable. And i suppose they must have almost as many happy customers otherwise they wouldnt still be running surely. I assumed becuase they offer the so called discounts lots of people buy at once, and as they are made to order, probably the same factories being used by several retailers around the world the demand outweighs supply causing the delay.
I wish you luck. However if you do have a problem make sure you kick up a fuss. We got a substantial discount. I think they get by on brand recognition, when we ordered we thought they were a reputable company and so we didnt research them.
I'm too far down the line now so hopefully works out okay in the end. How on earth does a company of this size send an empty van to a customers house.
Dont do it! Our furniture was 6 months late and in the wrong colour. They sent the wrong parts for the suite so we have a chaise without the adjoining sofa. They turned up 3 times with an empty van and we took time off work. Whenever we called we were spun a different tale as to the whereabouts. Look at the facebook reviews, its full of people with similar stories.
Got a similar deal over xmas, been waiting 15 weeks for ours now, got another 2 weeks to wait before we reach our provisional delivery date. Delivery times are shocking. Although can only complain at the extra two weeks we are having to wait as we were advised of a 15 week delivery time at the time of buying. Trying to contact them is an ache too, sat in the queue on hold for 45 minutes to try and speak to someone. Widely known they are terrible for customers service and delivery timings though. Heat as could help someone out
Sadly. Store didn't cancel my order today and I am stuck not able to order from a different shop. Store said they haven't received the authorisation to cancel yet and customer service is closed today. So I have to wait till they open.
Avoid. I placed an order in store end of August. Delivery was scheduled end of November. They called me couple of days before delivery and said they don't have my sofas in the warehouse. Its end of December now and they still don't have my sofas nor know when they can deliver them. Every time I call they say, they will raise an inquiry and it will take 3 days to get a response and the same is repeated after 3 days. Cancelling is also a hassle. Customer service can't do it. They send some paperwork to the store and the store is supposed to call me and confirm that I can come and cancel. But after 10 days I don't have a call from the store yet. Will try my luck in the store tomorrow.
Adds £59 on for delivery automatically so maybe included in your calculations. Mine worked at 20%
Think they have caught on. It's now only 5pc with code MVCBOX5.
Can someone in authority in HUKD use their management powers and REMOVE THIS FROM THE LISTING AND SEARCH RESULTS. All that happens when you click the Get Deal button is that it says Harveys are in administration, so no way to purchase anything. We all know that HUKD searches are posterior apparel (pants for those that need translation). But this is taking irritating members, to the exteme. Or is it just me?
Two words "credit card"
I wouldn't advise to buy from Harvey's either. I was still awaiting a dining table ordered in February until last week when after a week of ringing and awaiting callbacks I finally got through to cancel it. Even then I have to wait for someone else to ring me back to refund my deposit so am currently getting my bank to try and retrieve it
The sofa wasn’t comfortable. It’s ok for salons etc 8)
I can see your 'groove' that you left in that picture!
The one we use is Rich Nourishing 48h but any of the body lotion range (big blue bottle) will do, I found a you tube video that recommended it, good for handbags as well.
Harvey’s are in receivership. All of their cleaning kits are over 90% off. I paid £3.33 for this kit on Saturday. Bought an ex-display 2-seater leather sofa for £179 (reduced from £799). Each store is different, no stock in the warehouse, only what’s on the shop floor. I also bought a vase for 10p. Everything is for sale including shop fittings. This was Portrack Lane, Stockton.
Hi Bowler_man Could I ask which one it is ? As there's a few different options.
I use this Nivea body lotion @ £3.99 400ml once every 6 mths works a treat.

Large Side table from Harvey’s £10 (£34 delivered) at Harveys Furniture£34
Thanks for the observations about poor quality and bad customer service. You saved me from returns hell and delivery overcharging. Thanks!
£10 for table £24 del
I would echo this - we once made the mistake of buying two sofas from Harvey's, never again. Discovered both were faulty after delivery - it took several phone calls, a visit from their surveyor and a visit back to the showroom before they finally admitted it was their fault and collected them. I then had to chase our refund (over £1k) several times before we got our money back. It was an absolute nightmare! Go elsewhere, much better quality furniture available from other retailers! Heat still added for the price op :)
I purchased this, it was terrible quality. The holes didn’t line up and we ended up returning it. Harvey’s were a nightmare to speak to, it took me a total of three calls and a week to arrange someone to collect.
Yeah the delivery is a bit of a let down for the price

That's what they said!? You must be tipsy. Hopefully not on shift whilst under the influence of though?
If anyone has bought these, could you upload some more photos please. Can't really see the quality. Do they have flat or curved backs? Could you use them as normal chairs without the armrest installed. Many thanks!
Harvey’s stores can price match anything online.... and usually add a little extra. Can arrange free delivery to a store too that way.
If you add x2 to the basket it will be four chairs = £189.48 If you add x3 to the basket it will be six chairs = £264.72. Hope that helps. :) The pair is the title on the Harvey's website.
It says beow Four chairs = £189.48 Six chairs = £264.72
