Currys rejected my price match request as Home and Cook is missing their VAT registration number from their website which is a requirement for any genuine UK retailer. I had a look online and it’s there in the ‘terms and conditions’ section. The email reply is a no-reply email and form does not provide any comments section (annoyed) I guess I will fill it in again hoping someone else will pick it up and look for it properly. :(
I got Currys to price match this for me today, picked it up this evening. Loving it so far.
Thanks for posting and well done on your first hotukdeals thread (y)
Okay, thank you.
There's a price match page, you fill the form and wait for their email. Once you get the code, it's a normal order with normal delivery not a pre-order.

When making a curry for instance, it tells you when to add oil and onions, then there’s a timer for how long onions take to fry, when to add peppers, spices etc. The. When that timer is finished it will say “Now add the chicken and close lid”. Then it pressure cooks. There are quite a few recipes in the app and it is really simple to use. It is very flexible. You can use it just as a pressure cooker or it can tell you how to cook different dishes with recipes already installed or through the app.
What kind of stuff isit telling you to add out of interest?
These are great. I have one of these and unlike normal pressure cookers, it tells you what to add, how much to add, and at what time during the cooking process to make the recipe for you. Have made a few fantastic curries.

I have had one for a couple of years it is good for bacon, steaks and toasted sandwiches. It is not so good for cooking sausages, I do them cut down the middle opened up butterfly style, they cook that way well.

100 Built-in Recipes Screen: Full color LCD Inner bowl coating: Ceramic coating and hard oxidation Dishwasher safe
looks very expensive for an electric pressure cooker the only extra compared to others it seems is the recipe which seems a good idea if it works and is updated regularly if it is that would be an awesome feature i have a king pressure pro and they are a lot cheaper and also excellent machines
Extra 10% off with code 5AGAOT5J it’s a steal for £116.90
As a Vine reviewer, I received one free to test 2 years ago. I had tested about 10 different pressure cooker/slow cookers and initially thought this would be the best. It was not. Firstly although you can delay the time and it will go to a stay warm mode, it is not a slow cooker. Its really a pressure cooker. Secondly, if you do not get the liquid right, it will stop the cooking and blow all the steam out of it and you have to start again. It was an absolute fiddle and not as useful as it appears. As far as all the cooking modes went, I eventually used only one. Its one of those ideas that appears to be very clever and it could be, but in actual use, its just not as good as it first appears.
I’ve got one of these and had it about 2 years. Used it quite a few times and found it really decent. Manual options if you want to cook something longer, or as someone has already said, if you want to delay cooking. Has a ‘keep warm’ setting that kicks in when cooking has stopped which is helpful or can be set yourself. Loads of built in recipes, and lots on the app which is very good. Looks good, nice clear screen, and the app seems to get regular updates on recipes etc. I’ve definitely cooked from scratch a lot more since getting this as it makes things very simple and also cooks quickly with great results.
