a late thanks for this - used it last week for my tree
OP, a triple thank you for this! Managed to snag a Worx multitool, some paint and a few other small things today. I wish I needed more stuff! The 15% off made my day.
Had no issues. The staff were prepared and had a printed barcode to scan in preference / in case the one shown doesn't work. Also had a 15% offer on my Halifax Extras, so made it worthwhile (I wouldn't normally bother with Homebase, so the HE ineptitude actually worked out ok this time
tempted to try this....
Can anyone confirm this works in Northern Ireland stores?
Seems expensive for what it is. I got one very similar design from studio for £499 . It's made of powder coated steel so will just leave it outside all year round. Mine without the seat pads on.
Expensive, but looks very nice. Having owned an aluminium frame corner sofa for the past 4 years, I wouldn't buy anything else in the future. Outdoors in all weathers and still looks pretty much new.
It's metal frame, I thought it should be strong enough? ...Aluminium frame that will not rust and can be left outside, uncovered all year round
I've seen this in the shop, it doesn't seem all that robust to be worth that price. It looks good but doesn't strike me that it would last very long and if you loaded that sofa up with a load of people it really doesn't seem like it's designed to take the wait. It looks nice but I think it's need to be £650 or under to be worth going for
Damn shame it's so expensive. This is the nicest garden sofa I've seen.
This will only be good as a visual deterance (no problem with that). Use pragmasis if you need something good but they are much more expensive !
Agree on an individual basis that if you are trying to put food on the table then that will take priority. But if society acts like this then it becomes a race to the bottom. Plenty of people will take a moral stance to thier own personal detriment.
It’s (still) a free country, but I think the mods usually remove any comments they deem ‘too political’. i personally don’t think HUKD.deals have to have a level of morality, especially if you are trying to manage on poor wages etc.
It's not political and I would suggest well within the rules. Deals still have to have a level of morality otherwise it would be a race to the bottom and then we would all lose.
That’s true. Locks should be more of a deterrent than actually physically protecting from theft.
Problem with the the BnM ones is they become floppy (what am i saying here!! :) ) i use them for checking behind things at work and whilst they are great when you first get them they do lose the stiffness needed, and im going to stop typing now! (lol)
Not a great price , b and m do one with led lights for 2.99 https://www.bmstores.co.uk/products/rolson-2-led-telescopic-inspection-mirror-307040
Was going to come on and make a "witty" comment but that has literally won the HUKD for today and it's only midday!
Good for looking up old friends
I use one for checking the cables behind IT kit at work and TV's and stuff at home. One of those things you never realised you needed till you get one!
