I don't think most users on HUKD will give heat to a bin that costs more than £50. That being said, I've been eyeing a 50L bin from Simplehuman for quite a while as they have some great quality products, but I still think anything more than £100 is really pushing it. Had a smaller bin before that forced me to replace its bag every two days or so as it filled up so quickly. Was also a pain to keep clean and even wash because it was so easy to get it messy when you disposed of waste. Waited a couple of weeks for a Very Good or Like New condition under Amazon Warehouse deals and I found one for £80. Very happy with my purchase. Bag lasts for 3 or 4 days now since the bin actually makes use of the bigger sized bags I used to buy. Just the shape and look I wanted for the kitchen and it has a plastic interior bin for easy cleaning should there ever be any leakage or anything. Anyway, not posting this to convince anyone as I'm sure it's a matter of personal preference, but just wanted to share my experience. Amazon Warehouse deals are probably the way to go. Dunelm also had some deals on some of these recently but I thought I'd wait to see if I could get it cheaper and it paid off.
I bought one of these a while back for our new kitchen (although paid a fair bit less on Amazon, but think it was still £120). You won't believe how much this bin has changed our lives and could not live without it. My wife has even given me the ultimatum of "it's me or the bin". Honestly though it's a good bin, looks good, has the ideal storage capacity for us and very well built.
Amazon perchance? I do that a lot
If you could fit T May in there could be a considerable saving for uk....
How much? For a bin?

Got this bin for £25 at Home sense. Although I think they made a boo boo as there was no price on it and they had to go check in back. I don't think that was the correct price, but good for us though :-) it is a great bin as bins go. 10/10 from me.

Be very careful if you're reading this months later. I nearly bought this set while searching the net. £60 is just for the block now, not the knives as well. I nearly just bought the block from them, not realising the knives don't come with it, from a different link at the same site. Amazon have them for around £100. So really, you're getting £40 worth of knives with a £60 stand.
Same price on Amazon now
****! I knew I should have waited!
