HP Instant Ink - 1 Month Extra Free Trial

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

I just got my HP Tango which I accept is expensive but think is worth the price with its looks.
Most of the new HP printers now come with a minimum two months of HP Instant Ink trial and you can extend it with the code FREEINK.
I have googled and tried all others I found but only this one works.
On top, you can stack one referral code from a friend of colleague who has already enrolled.
This will add up to 2 months extra.
Don't forget to select the Frequent Program of 300 pages per month and you can downgrade when you trial is ending.

HP ink is a great idea. Only issue is if you get a printer with 304 cartridges then forget it. Even HP don’t have ink for it as factories have been shut due to Covid.
It's not free if you exceed 15 pages a month as they then charge you extra

That will explain why I’ve been struggling to get hold of some!
They used to do a ~1yr trial with some printers! Just finished my trial.

Once your done the trial, you can cancel and then start up a free plan (something like 10 pages free per month, so fine for the odd label etc.)

I've just had a set sent priority by DHL from Germany.
I got the email saying they couldn't supply my cartridge's due to production issues/covid
so they gave me 3 months free credit, but I was only without a colour cartridge for about 4 days!

My says "upto 300 pages free during free trial". I used this and another code. I've gone way over 15 pages each month during my trial, thanks to homeschooling, and haven't been charged anything.

Correct. I have HP printer that uses 304 and its been out of stock everywhere for a while.
I had 12 months free ink supply but the last few months delivery been really bad and there is no method to track where it is. Even worse HP customer service doesnt exist. They have this useless robot assistant which you get no useful answer from. I would stay away from HP (at least for the time being until ink is available again and postal service is normal)

Whilst registering using the Instant Ink option in your printer software.

Any ideas how to downgrade later on to the free plan? On Instant Ink Panel the lowest option is:
OCCASIONAL PRINTING
£1.99
a month?
You cannot downgrade to the free 15 page per month deal once you start your trial on the paid plan! I found out the hard way!

So how did you do it Andis?
I get 100s free using the code

Cancelled, waited a few days (maybe a week or two) and then signed up on the same account. Might have been luck, I guess
I was on the 5-6 month free trial then it rolled onto £1.99 but got them to refund it and put me on free plan. Free plan perfect for me although damn printer often fails to print whole page on first or even second attempt, OfficeJet 3830 All-in-One, probably only printed 100 pages over the trial and have replaced cartridge but even now still have issue. Guess you get what you paid for (cost me £30).
My old printer had kept me going 9 years lul
I have this - HP instant ink is just fantastic - no more me messing around anymore trying to top up my old ink carts (had to drill hole then bung up after filling) get ink automatically when running low - also if a cartridge becomes faulty which happened to me after a few years they replaced no problem. The carts they send I think are filled with more ink as they dont run out for ages unlike the ones you buy in the shops. Any get HP instant ink as it saves £££££££ and hassle free!
Can this be used on an existing account? Im already signed up and cannot work out anywhere to add this code....?

Does anyone know where you enter this code on the instant ink dashboard/webpage? My 12month free trial is due to end on the 28th of June. Thanks for any help.

I got the same issue, hangs in the middle of printing a page. I don't print enough to be bothered about this but if you do, maybe worth trying connecting to your computer with a USB A - USB B cable as I suspect it is the wireless transmission which is causing the issue, that is if you print from a computer.

I agree. If the Covid affect is neutralized, I will just subscribe to the plan of 50 pages a month for £1.99. It also rolls over the next month (max of double the monthly pages). It's not even the price for a cup of coffee.

Hah! Having the same problem with my printer. What works for me, is trying to print using mobile phone.

cliosport65 - How have you managed to do it? Greatly appreciate if you could share.
Exceptional value for money however, after a number of years I am heading to switch over to Canon's variation in the coming weeks. This is due to the common issue of faulty cartridges (I've had two develop faults). However, my problem doesn't lay with these technical faults, it lays with the none existent and disgraceful customer service which can often lead to months of payment taken with no use of the printer.

Mine is coming to an end too. Do I have to give 30 days notice for cancellation?

Also I can't see the free 10/15 page options, the lowest I see is £1.99 per month subscription. Did you cancel or did you go for the free option?

10p a sheet which is decent for people who barely print. I used to pay 10p a sheet at the library. This is just more convenient.

Ask HP live chat if they can add it on for you. They've done it for me quite a few times.
Just tried to downgrade my 50 page plan to the free one using messenger to talk to them but they wouldn’t let me.

Edit: Just went to cancel my subscription online and it gave me the option of downgrading to the free plan, saying that “we don’t want to lose you”.

It depends on the printer not the ink. Which printer are you getting? Most of the recent printers come with at least two months trial.
