They had 4 left around 11pm last night. They had about 40 boxes of the filter cartridges left.

zetec2000i

Did they have plenty? I wouldn't be able to make it there until around 2pm.

It's literally named the "Dalkeith Hardengreen" store :D Cheers for the heat Ross! (highfive)

Closer to Nitten than Dalkeith but have heat anyway :)

Just came on Instagram ads and ordered one. Free water hardness test strip. Received mine last week.
dalipsinghno1

Yes they. Here Brita is trying to sell their filter system which if you test the filtered water with the tap water side by side they say you should see the difference.

Are you sure? I’d reckon a big of Napalm or gravel rash would be worse.

I've filled out the free part form twice from Brita when it's been on offer & not once have I received anything. All I needed was the the tiny cover on the pouring spout as I had sucked it up into the vacuum cleaner.

Got the same thing. Oh well. No chance me finding the receipt. Under GPDR. You can request to have your information removed from their site. ;They have to comply. https://digitalguardian.com/blog/what-does-gdpr-mean-for-you

just wasted time registering and find out you need a receipt...lost that years ago!

big_blue_fish

Tried this last week on my 7year old filter and got the following response. “Prior to January 2018 we were able to send replacement out for all BRITA products regardless of warranty. We have revised our warranty process and like most other companies we have to adhere to our warranty process. BRITA offer a 2 year warranty of all products which can then be extended to 3 years when the product is registered online.”

tikibeach

This is not a deal, it’s a con: Dear Customer, Thank you for your recent request for a replacement part(s). BRITA offer free replacement parts for all systems under warranty. All BRITA products come with a two year standard warranty and if you registered online at the time of purchase this would have been extended by an additional year. For all replacement part requests the BRITACare Team will require your proof of purchase. Further information regarding BRITA's spare parts T&C's can be found at the link below. brita.co.uk/warranty If you wish to continue with your spare part request please forward your proof of purchase to us and we will look into your request. Kind Regards,

Not a hot deal :-( free parts under 2 year warranty and need a proof of purchase. Just like all other manufacturers - they more than happy to help under warranty, was a nice thought to think that they would just ship out random free parts but nobody does that these days.

I would trust Tyent ioniser. Two filters get rid of 99.9% of contamination. They are being sold on Amazon, but are the cheapest on eBay.

husna2000

London has hard water

deleted793389

The zero water intrigues me, but reviews state the filters last about a fortnight in very hard water areas, and there is nothing more convenient than my Brita kettle, shame zero don't offer this

Zoea

Yes this is true. People even live longer in hard water areas! However personally I would rather supplement for this and avoid the fluoride and chlorine and the Zero Water filtered water tastes fantastic, for tea and coffee and on it's own. Yes the filters are expensive (not quite 2 for 50 I think) but they should last over 2 months each for me and they actually work. I mean if you're filtering your water you may as well get an actually effective filter? I didn't do all the research there may well be more cost effective measures out there. The US of A seems to get many more and better options.

Grumpy_Cat

Hard water is actually good for you. Calcium and magnesium ions are really important for teeth, bones and cell-cell signalling. Yes hard water tastes gross, and can scale up appliances, but to talk in terms of contamination is a bit of a misnomer. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3775162/

Thanks OP. I just ordered a new lid for my Fill & Go Bottle. Didn't even need a serial number.

Nihcas5

I got my replacement lid as requested (leaking ? crack, memo stopped and missing bit atop the spout - only realized that when go my replacement) Though did take a few to and for of emails and 6 weeks or so. Still good service and thus worth buying the filters. Thanks Britacare

deleted1518083

Where do you write the serial number of your device. I can't find it anywhere on the website.

manda1

I do hope that wasn't aimed at me! I have to buy a new jug every 18mnths because of limescale. Not dirt, limescale! I clean my jugs every time I change a filter and the lid more regularly. We live in a very hard water area and scale will build up around the lid flaps very quickly. It's the reason we have the filter, to help reduce scale in our kettle. I can't soak the lid in vinegar or de-scaling solution as it will then wreck the counter, so how do you suggest I get the scale off?

deleted708422

I have only ever used to replace parts not working properly. I think it's a fantastic service and this is y I don't mind paying for the filters. Keep up the good work.
