£60 on GO Outdoors website. So given them a chance and gonna try them in a weekend in Norway. If they dont work there then they wont work anywhere
Sounds more like someone believed the product description and was expecting the product to live up to it, which it wont as its karrimor. The waterproofing will be useless within 6 months, not that it matters as the sole will have worn through in 3.
Looking for this long time, Ordered one, thanks
would not touch karrimor with a barge pole, used to be a good brand but not now
Sadly Karrimor isn't the quality brand it used to be. Now it's just a label used by Sports Direct.

Timberland Mens Chocorua 6 inch for £60 at Javarai£60
The deal doesn't work on all sizes, some sizes are £75 and using the code: WINTER13 will give an extra £20 off meaning you can get the shoes for £60
Good boots - I paid £54.99 for mine in one of these outlet type stores. Very comfortable and stand up to a lot of abuse. I would buy again - and £60 isn't a bad deal. Next time I might upgrade to the chocorua GTX model which has breathable goretex membrane. The GTX have a gore tex badge on the side as opposed to Waterproof on the Chocorua.
Mine wasn't a 'view', it was a (slightly exaggerated) fact. I respect your views but this isn't the place for them.
Just responding to your previous views , If you dont like it. Ignore it. :)
Thread for a pair of boots - not a pulpit for preaching your views (however laudable they may be).
India, Cambodia, Vietnam is where Primark clothes come from. I don't really know of clothes made in China but I actually shop at Sunspel and other London companies for my clothes. As my Avatar name suggests, I have an animal link. I choose to avoid China because of the way it exploits wildlife. Rhino, Tiger, Bear,Seahorse to mention just a few. Africa's Western Black Rhino was officially extinct In November 2013. China is the biggest cause of such travesties . During 2012, in South Africa alone a staggering 668 Rhinos were killed by poachers, that’s almost 2 a day. Worryingly the current figures for 2013 suggest that more than 1000 rhinos could be killed by the end of the year. This poaching is by no means isolated to South Africa, rhino poaching is surging across the entire African continent, and is a constant threat to the smaller rhino populations in Asia. Other rhino states do not regularly publish poaching statistics, however updates are available in news reports and press releases. For example, in early August 2013, Kenya reported that it had lost 34 rhinos to poaching since the start of the year. Here is a good link should anyone be interested. http://advocacy.britannica.com/blog/advocacy/2007/10/traditional-chinese-medicine-and-endangered-animals/
Isn't everything made in China? I think you'll go naked if you won't wear clothing made in China! ;)
