The ceramic morrisons ones (not available this year) and the ones from aldi have all been supplied by la hacienda and from what i hear the back up they provided has been pretty good but there has been a lot of discrepancies with model years in that two models supposed to be the same when trying to fit a divide and conquer it would fit one and not the other that along with cracked or broken fire bowls and the bother getting a replacement put me off. Enjoy your Ooni, my friend has one and loves it, i will stick to my electric pizza oven instead of my bbq in case i fry another bbq ;) The score so far with pizza for me is pizza 2, BBQ 0 (melted weber master touch handles and buckled la hacienda)
With young kids myself, the fact that the outside doesn't get scaldingly hot was a benefit I considered as well when deciding to buy. Just pointing out that longevity won't be as good as for the ceramic ones. Even more a pity about the price. Lots of great BBQs are so much cheaper in the US that it is frustrating to see we have to pay much more than twice as much. I've seen that Kamado Joe have produced a peculiar kamado/kettle hybrid as well, but not sure about the pricing of that one. That said, I've recently bought an Ooni Koda! Still in the box, but I'll hopefully be able to give it a try before too long... P.S. The Morrisons kamado I was talking about was a ceramic one they sold in past years, not the recent Akorn-ish one on sale this year.
Could it take a car tyre?
Great comment. Very balanced and insightful. Thanks for taking the time to post it (y)
Morrisons ones are not fit for purpose and burst a seam after one month and after the seam burst you noticed the sides were so thin you could push them in with a finger, Aldi do not deliver north of Aberdeen and they are online only. Yes there are lots of other larger Kamado's available but cost was not the only factor, I needed something safe with the grandkids and the ceramic still gets quite hot to touch and being 60+ I am no longer able to move 80+kg around when it comes time to move it.

Do you have to send this one back? Already assembled mine
Should be 30 m hose, that’s what mine came with. Try phoning them and get replacement sent
My order delivered with 25m hose instead of 20m not happy with the quality
Hi, after a lot of research I went for a Claber one (Italian company that specialises in irrigation products). This is the best price I could find for the 30m version (£105 delivered) and it arrived with a few days: https://www.greenhousepeople.co.uk/products/8083/8697-rotoroll-automatic-30m/

I got one of these from amazon a while back, and it's massive! I had to send it back as it would fit anywhere.
Have this and the Karcher auto reel one, which is approx 2x more to buy. HOWEVER The Hozelock is a PITA to assemble. The Karcher is ready out the box and is exponentially better if you plan to be using regularly.
Kapaaw....pow pow pow!

One touch is the model below this. Mastertouch has GBS grate (Centre lifts out so you can use different accessories like pizza stone, wok, griddle etc), It also has a lid holder so you can just slide the lid back to hold it. The ash pan is black instead of silver.
Does anyone know the difference between this (14501004) and the one touch 57cm (14401004)?
All because the weather is cold it doesnt mean vote cold. At least give reasons and alternatives
I've got one of these after years of cheap barbecues and regret not getting one sooner. For the novice, the vents top and bottom help you to regulate the temperature, and the thermometer is extremely handy to know you're not burning everything. Get a starter chimney and decent coal and bring on the summer.
One of the best BBQ's out there, in fact it is the best if it is this type you are looking for, pay a little more, it will pay for its self in the long run!
Bargain at the price. You can get much cheaper alternatives but as has already been said, these will pretty much last a lifetime.
The cheaper versions don't retain the heat as well as the Weber, as they have far thinner metal. Eats through your charcoal too quickly, so you would end up spending more on that. Well worth the extra money.
Tempted, but still holding out for the 47cm...good price for this one and all the accessories though :)
I tried that a while back, once you start replacing them you work out one that will pretty much last forever is a better bet...
Unless you are into this big time the knock offs on E bay can be had for 15% of this price.

I think this offer is wasted on here, Hartman are such good quality. I bought some plastic chairs when my son was a year old, we have just decided to get new and its a shame as only one is damaged, they have lived outside all their life and only one is cracked ......p.s. my son is 27 soon !!!!!!!!!!!!
