Perhaps not, but you need the keys to lock the security guards in their sleeping quarters, then you can nick the jet.

I'm don't think jets have keys!

Helicopter. The jet's keys are to be handed over tomorrow before sleepy Joe takes over.

I have the two exact same watches haha! How strange. I just love the motion of an automatic. Yes quartz are more accurate, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Generally autos are worth more because it takes more effort to craft them and get them close to accurate, and they're more rare. More rare generally means worth more too (though not always).

Thanks was looking for a cheap wristwatch

My Calibre 5 Carrera auto will last well over 24 hours (which is the longest I've had it off the wrist). You can wind it to get it going, via the bezel, apparently. My point really was that typically people buy "premium" brand (and I do appreciate many do not put Tags in that band - I mean more than a couple of hundred quid) because they are interested in watches - the mechanical engineering, the accuracy that can be obtained simply using springs and gems. It's fascinating (and I love my £50 Seiko 5 auto, which I bought as an entry to mechanical watches, and the hobby, almost as much as my Carrera). To spend > £1K solely on the brand with none of the hobby or engineering input, just doesn't make sense to me personally. There was a nice retro looking Rado auto on here for half the price of this yesterday - I would take that any day of the week over this quartz (which might as well be a Sekonda for me). But each to their own, would be a boring world if we all felt the same.

Hello mate, I don't think I made myself clear when I was answering you, the act of wearing the watch winds it so to fully wind the watch to achieve it's full power reserve you have to wear it for some time (off the top of my head I can't remember) or keep it on a watch winder. (y)

Is this available in 36mm auto?

In answer to this I believe it’s 300m worth of pressure, not a 300m depth. https://www.thrillist.com/gear/what-your-watch-water-resistance-numbers-mean

Beautiful. Always wondered about the advertised water resistance. I know that it's proxy for build quality; but reasonably it would be a bit problematic / impractical to be physically 300m under water to test this. Then again luxury isn't really always about being practical.

Can't understand anyone spending all that money on this plain looking watch (confused)

Got to say, it’s the ugliest Omega I’ve seen, voted hot for the price though (y)

I don't know how else to persuade you that I like numerous Bremont models - so let me state some. I like the dual sub-dial chrono anti-magnetic, blue strap that is COSC certified. I also like a number of their smaller 3 -handers. So I am a fan of them. This contradicts your assumption right there. Would I pay the prices they are asking (3-6K)? No way - If I had that sort of money, I would buy a brand new Omega railmaster 40mm antimagntic or the 38mm vintage re-issue version, or a Rolex oyster pep 36mm, or a Tudor Black Bay 39mm in-house calibre blue dial. Now, next to just these three (I have many more) Bremont is a microbrand, yet they expect me to buy at exactly the same price as these 3 I mention. I have got the history, engineering, brand pedigree, authentic servicing/repairs facilities and guaranteed resale value well over what a Bremont would give me. So why would I buy a Bremont? You may consider yourself incapable of making "poor financial decisions". but next to the 3 I mention, you will have done exactly that upon resale if you purchase a same priced Bremont. The question that really needs to be answered is why are they pricing fairly good watches at the prices of Rolex/IWC/Tudor/Omega? It's a question I cannot get answered from any Bremont owner.

First and foremost, I have accused you of nothing and in no way attacked you, although if you feel otherwise I am happy to listen? Rather I have observed your various comments in relation to Bremont, the underhanded nature of their business, the lies, the behaviour of the salesman who own the business, how foolish and unprofessional the owners are, the perceived overpricing, Etc. Etc. questioned the validity of some of your claims and somewhat naturally concluded that you are not a fan. As for me in anyway being personally offended, rest assured I am far too long in the tooth and thick of skin to care what others think of certain matters, not least of all the choices that I make involving money. Then again, anyone who knows me will know that I very rarely make a poor financial decision, particularly not when it comes to buying goods or services, where very few variables and unknowns exist. Overpriced is defined as something costing more than it is worth and it follows that worth in terms of goods and services is accepted as that which another is readily willing to pay for it. I use that as the starting point for all purchases and work South from there. As for what is and is not a Microbrand, again by definition a microbrand is deemed to be a small scale operation confined to a limited geographical location or one that perhaps serves a slightly broader but more niche market. Given that Bremont are the UK's largest watch company with a well established global distribution network, it's kind of tough to buy into the theory that they are by definition a microbrand.

First of all. I have no "dislike" for Bremont. I like many of their models -too big for me, but nonetheless I like them. I have stated this before and in this thread. I don't understand why you cannot accept this and I cannot make you understand that anymore. I can clearly see a youtube video that is "staged" compared to a fair impartial video. Mosso actually celebrates that they lied. He calls it "story telling" and that the salesmen brothers are "great guys". This is not impartial. Veneto takes money from not just Bremont but many others as well. He has fallen out with many other youtubers who were previously his friend, then they them "out" his many antics. He will give an analytical review on casio or seiko but on other brands, they are lovefest reviews. You don't need to be an expert to decipher the which is paid and which is not. You talk as though you have never seen videos from these three. These are clearly sales pitches. This is my evidence. Others found direct lies, (which does not seem to bother you all). I have found (without searching) sales pitches. Apparently, there are many others that they pay to do this. I do not know what they pay them with - it may be money or watches or aliexpress gift cards- I don't know. With an influencer called Timeteller, he is clearly paid with watches from Boldr. He denies any payment Their lies aside (and I mention I did not discover their lies - other people did and they were caught out), My main issue with Bremont are their prices. This is unacceptable for a microband - period. Their lies make they look foolish and unprofessional in my eyes, (but that's nothing to do with me - it's their reputation, not mine), but it's their prices that concern me. You seen to make a lot of accusations at me. But, it is clear to me that you are hurt by my legitimate criticism of their prices because I am guessing own one or more (just a guess). You have paid this ridiculous price for a microbrand and are now trying to save face by attacking anyone that call them a "microbrand" and "overpriced". You may need counselling or something because I can't help you. I stick to my criticism because it is the truth: I like many of their models, but they are a microbrand and they are vastly overpriced.

Given that you said the 2014 Wright Flyer issue was "not your complaint", why once again focus on this, rather than provide substance to your statement that Tim Mosso and Tristan Veneto are paid by Bremont to promote Bremont watches? Claims made with no tangible evidence put forward or even hearsay for that matter. Thus the comments come across as gossip or opinion. That is despite you saying you are not interested in gossip. You cannot expect to present opinion as fact and not have any users seek claritify regards the claims? Stating that Bremont are "notorious for this behaviour, hence their reputation", requires that they be just that, as you have stated, known for acting as you say, but you have not provided anything other than the 2014 issue you say was not your complaint. Last but not least, whilst your dislike of Bremont is clear, when you then go on to call out and question the credibility of the likes of Tim Mosso/Watchbox and Tristan Veneto and endeavour to belittle their credentials by referring to them as influencers, given the nature of your claims, it would make sense for you to have something of substance to back the claims up.

You summarised why you should not buy a Bremont in 1 sentence! (y)

Chopard are an amazing watch company with a great heritage, I personally love the fact they have a real sapphire in their cabochon unlike Cartier where you must buy an 18ct watch for this.

Chooses is pretty popular with women

Good price so heat from me. I don't like Chopard watches. My sister just traded a Rolex in for one, I still can't understand why.
