:whistling:

xx338 15% works at Littlewoods Direct (and with electrical products)
Thanks

awesome stuff - 15% off will help me a lot.

Sweet Thank You Xx

are those code credit your account with store credit so you still have to pay for a full price first?

xx037 just gave me 20% off

i cant get the bnpl april ones to work on additons now

A whole load of their stock is not available, and has been 4 a long time.

How do they work with restocking? Do they just wait till all pretty much sold out then just bring in the new lines?

I've added heat - cheers!

However, I placed an order with Littlewood Direct using a voucher code. Due to a what looks like a picking error they sent the wrong item (toddlers dcshoes instead of adults). D'oh..!

I'm going to return them at the weekend, but do you think I should I have any issues swapping them to another pair at the same price due to me using a voucher code? I don't want to get short changed due to their error.. Cheers in advance to anyone who can answer!

same happened to me. i phoned and they sent a replacement. and collected the wrong item.
i was worried but they just credited me for the wrong item.

Be Aware!!!
Do not use codes that have NOT been issued to you.

I have just had ALL of the codes i used on Littlewoods & Empire Stores charged back to me.
I was also told by the head of the department that EVERY account is to be checked for CODE ABUSE.
They have placed a specialist team on Voucher Abuse & EVERY account will be checked & Every account WILL be charged back to the customer.
They even told me what i bought & what the code i used was supposed to be for.
Just a word of warning folks

Hmm.. I think the site that people have problem with is littlewoods Direct. I think there have been no cases at all for the Littlewoods catalogue...or have there?

Well I've just used the 15% code on Kays to get 15% off a £1299 TV, thanks OP!

despite all there terms and conditions stating this i dont think they can do it - when they take your payment the contract is sealed.

Yes they can!

The contract is based on you agreeing to their terms and conditions which are clearly stated when you place the order.
Take a risk but don't whinge when you have money charged back to your card. When this issue was first raised last year the legal position was ambiguous but there is no longer this excuse.

Not thinking that they can do it is no defence in law.

If you pay by card, there is more chance of littlewoods charging you back when using these codes.
For this reason I always place orders to my flexible account when I use any codes and, SO FAR, have always received a order confirmation email and never charged back.

Short version: If using codes, place orders against your flexible account, not by card.

So basically if their own T&C are breaking the law then it is alright since they have it in their T&C? So if they were to say that 'We will never deliver anything if you order from us' it would be alright since it is in their T&C?

Their terms and conditions would have to be legally acceptable for them to be enforced should a dispute occur.
I would imagine the office of fair trading could be called in to investigate any claim for unacceptable terms and conditions should a problem arise , however its not perfectly clear as to how successfull any claim would be if you were to test this.

Fair enough, but isn't it easier if Littlewoods just tidy up their overly flawed system?

I doubt its an issue of whats 'easier' , more a marketing tool which can work well for them when it suits and should they wish to claim back their money off some unlucky individuals then they also have that option too, bearing in mind that it is within their rights to do so.
This method of selling should not really be allowed and the trading standards really should address this issue once and for all. If a voucher is accepted online then it is not acceptable to charge back the discount at a later date once the order has been fulfilled. Littewoods choose to accept the discount and fulfill the order at the price agreed at the time of purchase.

Ilove these codes!

well done!

just used the 15% off, thanks alot it really was useful.

XX057 - 20% Off (Including Electricals)

Thank you very much!

I had looked into a number of Voucher code websites, the best one worked for me was XX182 on Camcoder which gave me 10 % off.

It was the best deal for as, it matches the prices onto the other full price paid websites.

Thanks a lot.

Deepak

Haven't had a single code work for me?!!! Really annoying trying like 100 codes an none work aside from one of those dodgy codes at the bottom???? Not sure what will happen (if anything) using one of those?

Cold from me, sorry.

you gotta keep patience, my one worked after a number of tries as well. technically, i think they are grouping all the discount codes as per products and as per customers.

here: try this one: XX448 or ZQ448
