Checked on ebuyer and dabs and they are at £125 ish. Have never seen h one at this price is on logitech website at £159, so I would say this is hot !

I haven't seen of these at such a low price and I have wanted one for some time! Hot hot hot!

Hot and ordered

Absolutely blazing!

Have followed the price on this from £88 to £100 and back to £98. There was a price last year for £79 but missed that so was waiting for it to drop below £85.

Thank you.

AMAZING.

the price for the 555 got my attention, but I thought if i'm gonna do this.. im gonna do it properly! Bought.

Got amazon prime trial too... so lets see how this bad boy performs tomorrow night

Heat add - thanks!

Great price but word of warning, if you have Sky+ this harmony one doesnt have buttons for the red/blue/green buttons found on remotes (specifically) which is a pain when you have sky plus (although you can of course set other buttons up)

I got a 515 on offer the other week on amazon and it's great once you give it some effort to set it all up how you want it.

Slim

That is rather annoying...

I guess I only use red and blue. Red for interactive stuff and blue for Favourite channels. It's not like those features are particularly relevant to the colours. Just a case of getting used to a new button I suppose.

Does the controller have a function for storing my favourite channels, or should I still be relying on the Sky way?

There's a massive thread on avforums.com about this remote. It does have the ability to store a list of favourite channels - you can even load logos for the channels into it which looked quite nice.

As for the coloured buttons, it seems they come up on the LCD screen for certain devices that use them, though quite a few people still map them to physical buttons because they prefer it that way.

Amazing remote, well worth the price, and once you get the touchscreen configured with the red, yellow, green, blue buttons, the sky remote will gather dust. You can also have all your fave channels with great icons. But the setting up of activities and turning things on in a particular order is a winner.

Heat and rep added!

Cheers

I've read up about logos etc, I'm just being lazy by asking questions as I'm currently at work! I'll hunt down the avforums stuff when I return home and eagerly await my remote control...

It's not natural to be this excited about what is essentially a remote control.

Gone for this. Like someone else, I'd been following the price of late and was cursing when it went up to £98.
This will replace my contantly creaking 525. The 525 is great but the build quality could be better.

Eh? Have you even read the specs for this remote? Let alone picked one up? The feel and design of the remote is first class.

Need batteries? Nope! it has its own rechargable battery and sits nicely charging in its own cradle...

Also the support that you get with this remote is superb, Logitec remembers all your profiles, settings and equipement, so if you update later to another better remote you can seamlessly change all the details.

Also I had an issue where my remote wouldnt power on my 50" Panny Plasma and after a quick email to support I had the issue resolved in under 10 minutes, where I had to simply plug the remote into the PC and update the remote and the issue was fixed.
