Yeah they have some great styles, and there really is something for all budgets
That's good to hear @Mum_Ninja (y)
Agreed, I was a Specsavers customer when I had my NHS voucher. But since then I've been going to these guys every other year for a style change
Have to say I took a punt on these company following another hotdeal and I am really really impressed. I've now stopped purchasing my glasses via boots as they were costing so much. The glasses here are excellent and at such a reasonable price and customer service is fantastic
I was wondering why I didn't get a confirmation email. After seeing your message, I found all emails from low cost glasses in my Gmail Spam folder. Odd. Timescales for simple prescription seem fast compared to other providers.
I placed an order last night and the confirmation email had this:
For anyone who's ordered from this site - how long until delivery usually? (basic included single vision prescription)
Why expired? I have just ordered a pair and gone through, in fact there is still over 11hrs for the deal remaining. Thanks for the deal, HEAT SPECtacular price delivered. I wear contacts and do not have a pair of glasses, so this is nice to have for peace of mind.
Thought the picture was a car roof bike carrier. Disappointed
After I went for it they sent me an email offering me the anti-glare option for £11 extra, optional. YMMV
Did you not upgrade lenses as I need anti glare
Yes. This deal via MSE https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/specky-four-eyes/ No extra charges
Were they £39 including the lenses? When I try it includes either another £10 or £20 for the lenses depending on which package you choose.
Perhaps, but there are cheaper online options for branded glasses if they try this on. I went with Barbour frames from Specky4Eyes which came to £39, which is a complete pair of glasses for less than just the fee they wanted added on because my prescription is too high. Won't bother with LCG again.
Only if you're spending £30+ though, it won't work on the £5 frames
Cheaper with the 50% off code on their site.
A reminder for anyone who needs a Cosmo Smallpeace prescription - Asda Opticians supply thinner lenses within their price. Last time I looked they were about £100 For 2 pairs. Obviously more than this deal but hi index lenses cost a fortune.
:) Nice to get some backups tho the thin rimmed glasses look quite fragile
Yes. But it does most people. I went short sighted in 1981 and my prescription has hardly changed since.
