Test it with h2testw A supposed 32GB MicroSD card from Natalie's Little Bookshop on Amazon Marketplace turned out to be a 2GB when tested with this software. With regard to this deal, I'm suspicious of a company that says Wonder what their returns policy is like if it's fake?

It's not Sandisc, but it's definitely got 32Gb capacity & have had no read/write errors so a with over 18Gb of files on it

Currently has 2Gb of apps, 9Gb of video, 5Gb of music & 2Gb of pics on it & Android is still reporting over 12Gb of free space so from what I can see the 32Gb looks about right

try filling it to 32 or thereabout and report back.

Good for your new Galaxy S II or other non apple device!!!

You mean its really a 512MB made to look like a 32GB lol i got ripped off on there and would not recommend buying from that site. I did get my money back as i found i could leave follow up feedback and told the guy i would report him to "fleabay".

I had mine die on me less than a few months after a similar deal post....i wouldnt touch these unbranded ones if your data's important to you.

I think class 10 would be overkill for a mobile phone & doubt there is one out there that could make full use of the access speed ......unbranded....... Can pick up a 32Gb cad for £21 on Fleabay....only class 4 but more use in a phone

u can get micro usb, where u slot the micro sd card into a usb.

Please amend the title as already pointed out this is a Micro SD card not a Micro USB anything.

It isn't an amazing deal, but I just bought a Lexar 16GB class 6 from eBuyer with reader for £24.43 delivered. Just benched it in its own reader as it came out of the packet an pretty pleased with it for a recognised brand. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- CrystalDiskMark 3.0 (C) 2007-2010 hiyohiyo Crystal Dew World : http://crystalmark.info/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------- * MB/s = 1,000,000 byte/s [SATA/300 = 300,000,000 byte/s] Sequential Read : 17.167 MB/s Sequential Write : 11.586 MB/s Random Read 512KB : 17.465 MB/s Random Write 512KB : 0.908 MB/s Random Read 4KB (QD=1) : 3.730 MB/s [ 910.6 IOPS] Random Write 4KB (QD=1) : 0.008 MB/s [ 2.0 IOPS] Random Read 4KB (QD=32) : 3.722 MB/s [ 908.7 IOPS] Random Write 4KB (QD=32) : 0.009 MB/s [ 2.1 IOPS] Test : 500 MB [E: 1.0% (0.1/14.9 GB)] (x5)

wouldn't it draw a current for less time though negating that effect? (never heard of difference within sdhc cards tbh though)

Class 10 = faster block data (~= 4mb) transfer = but more current consumption = less battery life

I bought one, too. My results: Test finished without errors. You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again. Writing speed: 4.86 MByte/s Reading speed: 15.2 MByte/s H2testw v1.4

Cheers for the heads-up. Just got one for my BB 9800

This is back in stock again now, same price.

In capacity terms this is the best you are going to get for now, I think class 4 is the fasted 32GB cards come in, if write speed is more important to you then you could get a faster 16GB card. For me most of my storage is music so size is all that matters. Nice phone by the way.

Hi all, I just got a Samsung Galaxy S2, can anyone tell me if this would be a good choice of SD card for it? is there much difference in performance? Thanks

I have had some trouble with cards and the vega, its seems the vega has trouble unmounting and formatting. I had to go into recovery and format from there.

I also have had one fail and get replaced, however I cannot get it to work in my advent vega

Bought one of these Low Price Memory 16GB Micro-SD Card Class 10 cards four week ago and it has just died. Never had a usb or sd card fail on me before, Very dissappointing. Nothing can see it - PC, laptop with usb or full size sd adapter, HRC Desire HD phone. Will have to contact them in the morning.

First Joyflash card died. Lasted 1 day. Refund sorted. Second one going strong. Lowpricememory card working fine. I think the problem I had with it was because it was plugged into my PC from the night before and my MBoard is set to boot from USB Ext. Drive first. Since then I've made sure this doesn't happen and no problems.

My card... Writing speed: 14.7 MByte/s Reading speed: 18.4 MByte/s H2testw v1.4 Very happy :)

One thing to note before I get this pointed out to me. Mymemory also have these either through Amazon MarketPlace or directly through their website and a few quid cheaper....but service is reportedly pretty pants from MyMemory at present with regards to time taken to ship out. As Amazon's feedback comments seem to indicate.

Cheers! Yes and I'm one of those that prefers branded!. I know sometimes an unbranded flash card can be just as good but I've been caught out a fair amount in the past. Especially with the old SmartMedia cards. Piece of mind is never a bad thing!.

Darn... wish I saw this before I got my class 4. Should be hot.

by comparisons i dont mean a calculation of price difference and funnily enough i can do that either in my head or by those new fangled calculator thingies. i mean a proper performance comparison...stating class isn't a performance comparison in any way.

Here you go: This Toshiba one https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/toshiba-micro-sd-high-capacity-micr/821310 is £16.49 --- £3.50 cheaper for a class 4 card. This Kingston one https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/kingston-16gb-microsd-card-class-4/763990 is £21.89 ---- £2.00 more expensive and only class 4 again. (This is a more 'recognised brand'. This one https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/16gb-microsdhc-memory-card-17-99-pl/761427 from Play.com is only £15.49, though it says class 4, comments suggest otherwise. £4 cheaper. Wikipedia: "Class 0 cards do not specify performance, which includes all legacy cards prior to class specifications. Class 2, 2 MB/s, slowest for SDHC cards. <-- not recommended, too slow, though adequate for some devices/uses. Class 4, 4 MB/s. <-- cheaper by roughyly ~ £3 though possibly lacking sufficient speed for some uses /devices. Class 6, 6 MB/s. <-- sufficient for more demanding purposes, and due to the minimal price difference, highly recommended. Class 10, 10 MB/s." <--- harder to get hold of, and generally a fair whack more expensive.

looks good, need comparisons to the 16quid class 2/4s though to make proper decision
