Yes, they are not cheap but I still have the set I bought 20 years ago and you can start with the two most important to you or you wait for a good offer such as this one hotukdeals.com/deals/knipex-1426160-vde-side-cutters-wire-stripper-160-mm-1099-amazon-why-expired-still-available-1323204 and you should get all of them for far under £100
Would rather go with Knipex, they are usually good for a lifetime if you look after them.
I hate it when they have to name something 'professional', smells like a marketing ploy and puts me right off. If it was high enough quality it'd speak for itself and 'professionals' would all be using it already. Having said that, no idea if these are any good or not, so haven't voted either way (lol)
Noticed that myself, they weren’t a selectable option on MyMakita either.
Can’t see anything that states Machine Mart are an authorised Makita dealer but still went on the Makita UK site anyway and registered for the extended 3 year warranty https://makitauk.com/3-year-warranty
Stuck a 5ah battery in it and ran outside to blow up the Mrs' car tyres. Awesome bit of kit to be fair. Like they said in other reviews, the only downside is it doesn't have a hold function on the trigger but I can live without that.
Ditto and ditto! (y)
That's rubbish. Did you manage to get through to Customer Services? Must admit I haven't bought anything from MM in years so no idea what the after sales is like. Mine was delivered by DHL today. Didn't think it was going to show up.

Nilfisk 15 Metre Drain & Tube Cleaner £34.98 delivered from MachineMart£34.98
I think it's the cheapest available if youre not keen on eBay
Useful product. Bought the 8m one a few years ago and could unblock cast iron downpipes that were completely blocked solid with soil, roots, and corroded metal fragments.
If you don't need 15m, Cleanstore has the 8m version for £19.99 + approx £5 postage. They also sell a regraded 15m version but its currently oos. cleanstore.co.uk/products/Product.asp?ID=13716
Marty your link doesn't mention what pressure washer brand it will fit ????
Plenty of quality cheaper alternatives on Amazon or EBay eg. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07N7TJD4P/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_4?smid=A2CMC8IU7CLTT9&psc=1 (which can be screwed onto your standard hose).
Showing £4.99 delivery for me, do you live out in the wilds? A couple of pounds cheaper HERE if you can't collect from store.

Ryobi One+ R18IW3 400nm 3 Speed Impact Wrench Kit With 1.3Ah Battery £106.80 at Machine Mart£106.80
Been looking for a decent Impact Wrench on a budget, and for just over a hundred quid I stumbled across this end of line at Machine Mart. A great time and sanity saver for anyone w… Read more
Todays price on this is £94.80 including VAT. Only limited stores left and they will not post.
Until 31st I think - link at the bottom of the original post for best deal if you want the bundle
Is the Christmas offer still on from Ryobi? At the start of the month of you spent over £90 on a one plus tool, you could get an item from their selection for free
So it's fine for the RAC to change your wheel but if you do it yourself (rather than wait hours on end for them to turn up) it suddenly becomes perilously dangerous? You do realise not every side of the road tyre change equates to 18 wheelers driving within 2mm of you, at 100 MPH, in the thunderous rain, on the side of a motorway? Everyone knows not to engage in tyre changes in situations like that! And nowhere did the post, you sarcastically called "advice", make any advocation for that sort of thing.
Official charger and a small official battery for £27 more than a bare tool is a decent deal imo. Its small but for car work I can’t think of an application where I would need it for more than 30 seconds at a time

Einhell Power X-Change TE-AG 18 Li Cordless Angle Grinder (Bare Unit) Back to product list £44.39 at Machine Mart£44.39
While looking for a cordless angle grinder I can across this offer of a free 2.5 amp battery worth £34 with any Einhell bare tool over £25, good offer I think.
I read a lot of reviews about this model and opted for the 18v Ryobi (which meant buying into their battery system). Many reviewers said this Einhell lacked power and often stopped at contact without much force. Was enough to put me off. I have a mains powered angle grinder and I can tell you the Ryobi is no slouch and is the only one I use now. Tiles, brick, bolts, steel plate, chasing etc. no problem. Hope that helps...
@lilbeastie Ive got the thin metal cutting discs and diamond. I use mostly for cutting metal plastering beads and it struggles with that. I'll probably take a punt on the brushless version as that's said to have more power. Maybe a bigger battery would help?
I have it too and I’d say it’s quite gutless. I have both metal and stone discs and neither cut great, although they are cheapish discs so maybe could be that but the slightest bit of resistance and it cuts out.
odd - I'm wondering if yours was faulty, as I've used one of these and found it more than powerful enough to cut through clay soil/drainage pipes (which are VERY hard!). Not as powerful as a mains grinder, but decent enough and definitely not what I'd call gutless. Were you using the right discs? Metal discs won't cut stone and vice versa however powerful the grinder...
I'm still using my Ryobi drills with batteries the size of a small suitcase!

Makita DMP180Z 18v Inflator bare unit £56.99 @ Machine mart£56.99£65.3113% off
Bare unit for those with batteries and just found this cheaper than other deals recently seen
Just got the 51cm electric start for the wife, assemble the mower put battery on charge, added the oil and fuel. Asked her to give it a go, it fired up first time. Wish I didn’t get the electric start model. These engines are so easy to start no hard pulling and economical compared to my old self drive mowers, that she could never start.
Shame it hasn’t got a roller
I bought the HYM510SP model (196cc 51cm cutting width) for £310 and I love it! 450sqm of lawn cut in under 1hr
Surely it’s all about the stripes (highfive)
Some lucky people have a great working mower, I bought on a recommedation, sent mine back twice, never worked!!! My experience, customer service awful - after Trust Pilot review Manager contacted me - got a full refund. Please check Trust Pilot multiple bad reviews.
