Every ParcelForce 'delivery' usually ends up with me having to walk to either my local depot or post office to collect the item. They refuse to call when at the address, and never leave a card. Other delivery services (Yodel, DPD to name 2) bombard you with emails, texts and calls informing you of the expected delivery times, and even tracking of the driver location. The local PF depot only opens Saturday mornings at the weekend, so you are queuing for anywhere between 20-40 minutes to collect items. I seriously would not recommend using ParcelForce regardless of the discount.

They probably don't like you, buddy. I have a good laugh with all my drivers, they do me favours. That's how it works, buddy!

I agree I even left a note on the door asking to leave next door or around the back and it went to the post office 2 miles away. Needless to say not happy !

Could be free and I wouldn't use them after how they handled my parcel the other day. Left it out in pouring rain behind the empty cardboard bin, which would've been fine to keep it safe.

That's the result.

How is this discount usually disseminated?

Thanks for any insight

This is a multi use code for a single person. They track its use and it will be made void you do realise
40% off something highly overpriced doesn't necessarily make it a good deal
I haven't used parcel force much, but have had an issue twice where they somehow managed to damage th items. They did not honour the postage insurance claim... so now I prefer not to use them

Our company has sent hundreds of parcels to customers on a daily basis and by far the worst for damaged goods has been Parcelforce. We have used DPD, Fedex, UPS and City Link (now defunct). All of these had far less damaged on delivery reports raised. DPD being the best all round for us.
Great code

Yes, i sent a 15kg parcel yesterday with parcel monkey with £110 compo and came to £11. Parcel force direct wanted £20ish.
Any couriers take large items (2 metres in length) reasonably priced? Parcelforce have refused ours now due to the volume we send
Royal mail £9.50 for my parcel...

Parcel-force after "HUGE DISCOUNT" £23.40...

Brilliant, good work
Worth checking senditnow , as that is basically Royal Mail/Parcelforces discount site.

Parcelforce are normally very competitive for parcels over 1m, or parcels that normally cost over £10/11 to send

Recently sent a £500 soundbar which had a package size of 1.29m. Came to about £33 all in (with enhanced insurance), with this voucher directly with parcelforce... it comes down from £64 to £38. So still cheaper than anywhere else but....senditnow

True, however it can't be traced to a single person as it's the same for everyone so that's an upside I guess so no-one will be banned for using it etc
Aweful service worse than Hermes! They never try another address even when speaking to them with the Ring they always say no time!
Once we ordered a Swarovski vase that was engraved etc and cost £120, for a birthday that weekend. I happened to look out one day thru the kitchen window and they had thrown it over our 8ft gates even though it was plastered in very fragile tape!!! It survived but it wasn't the point and I certainly wouldn't use them to post items again!

I’ll be very honest the condition driver work under to meet daily targets are stressing, so they’ve no other options to take shortcuts or otherwise get fired.
These shortcuts are in place from Depo managers for driver to get job done.
Does not work ,tried it one hour ago ,so it must be account specific,it would have come in handy as i have two parcels to send to Scotland tomorrow the only one that i have been able to find from parcelforce is 15 % with code MEM
So beings then down to normal prices?
No good for sending a hardback book or similar, Parcelforce's cheapest is still £10.80 !!
Fine if you're posting a golf bag

Likewise, Parcelforce would have to pay me the items value in advance before I used their substandard joke of a service ever again. If you claim due to damage your item will either be packed too well, or not enough. That just about covers them for every eventuality!!?? Still owe me £800 for a heavily built Home Cinema Amp that they managed to smash.
