Admittedly the Sealy was an open coil “posturetech” zip and link super long (can’t remember the model, but overpriced whatever the range :) - honestly, it was supposed to be VERY FIRM, and I ended up squashing the coiled springs in only a few months but only formalised my complaint just before the 12 months was up (I am 95kg so well below the capacity of a mattress!) - genuinely, avoid mate, marketing hype (as with a lot of mattresses) but the modern Sealy and silentnight are not like they were in the old days :)
Darn it, was thinking of getting a silentknight from Costco, then was out off by one or two reviews and started looking at Sealy. What type of Sealy bed did you have?

Please don’t spend your hard earned cash on silentnight or Sealy :( our geltex pocket spring silentnight developed peaks and troughs within 6 months (and we rotated / are not obese!) - luckily Costco purchase and they were excellent in returns and refund :) Sealy was from a local bed company, and issues luckily happened within the first 12 months so you deal with retailer as part of 5 year warranty...... retailer offered to take it back and give me store credit so got a hybrid mattress and much happier (Idyll).

Had a bad experience with this mattress, only lasted 18 months before going lumpy and uncomfortable. When claimed on the guarantee cost me nearly the same again for a similar mattress from silentnight. Will never buy this brand again.
I once bought a cheap silentnight bed and matress, ironically its really noisy if you move around on the bed! Can't day I'd buy another.
I have my doubts when looking at silent night tho as I feel IKEA has better quality

There are lots on eBay at better prices than this. One seller has a 1000 pocket spring double mattress for £99.99 delivered - though that one is a fairly thin one ( but to be fair you only sink into a mattress a few inches so this isn't a major concern) . There are also many 1400 sprung models under £180 delivered. I personally would stay away from ones with memory foam. My current mattress is foam and I can't wait to change back to just pocket sprung - they are far better.

This is a good price for Pocket sprung and the minimum springs should be 800,so all good.
rrp always inflated . just has to be the price for 30 days at one argos store then can call everything else a discount. Same with most mattress shops

I wouldn't bother if this is the miracoil 3 as we bought ours in feb this year and have just had to have it replaced under the guarantee. Totally collapsed and won't buy a silentnight again, i think their standards have dropped we had one previously which lasted 7yrs!
