I think the "coolmax" name refers to the cover. It does seem to work. We have another mem foam mattress and this one is definitely cooler to sleep on. Been in use for about 4 months so early days I guess but pleased so far, hasn't lost its shape and still has same support it did from day one.
I got a 'Hypnia' one from eBay about a year ago, and its lasting well (7" with 3" reflex layer) and they are really good but l find it really hot, so if this Coolmax one works to keep the temp down it might be worth the extra price.
Its a glorified topper. Two pieces of foam does not a mattress make. Rest Assured, if you'll excuse the pun, it will sag and it will eventually collapse - what foam doesn't given time?
I'm tempted too, but would need to see one in action first, might email the company and see if they've got a showroom or have them on display somewhere. OP, you say you've got one - how is it lasting? Someone I know bought a cheap memory foam mattress a few years ago and after 6 months it was just a saggy mess.
has anyone bought from this company before? and if so, what is the quality of their bed frames and mattresses?
Only if this had storage
I was a bit dubious about getting a foam mattress as I sweat a lot in my sleep! I bought the one from dreams one up from the cheapest and never had a problem! I used to suffer with being really hot at night and I was surprised at how well I got on with it. No sweaty problems 15 months on.

They don'y mention the weight of the actual memory foam. The higher the density the better the foam quality is. In my opinion anything less then 50kg is a waste of time as generally the lower density foam comes from China and may not meet British standards.
got a mattress from them about 3 years ago can't go wrong still good very comfortable bought another one recently for my son.very good quality worth the money
I got the silent night one, and even though my matress has memory foam in it, I thought some nice extra comfort. It was garbage, was like 5cm and was useless and my back hurt in the morning, so took it off, and its in my attic, anyone want it for cardiff collection for 30.00 king size?
I bought a Carpenters foam mattresses just over year ago from TJ Hughes, it was about £170 for a king size. It's 20cm deep but basically normal foam for 17.5cm then memory foam for 2.5cm. It's quite firm (we tried out various types in the shop and chose this). It has been absolutely brilliant, got used to it very quickly. It's impossible to feel when the other half gets in to bed too as there is literally no movement. As I say it's a year old and no signs of sagging or wear (though neither of us are very heavy - about 11st and 13 st. There is a lot of talk about memory foam being rubbish, it's probably propagated by the Bed Cartel we have in this country! However I have recently seen some ones in Poundstretcher that looked absolutely woeful (seemed to be the sort of spongy foam you get in sofas) so best avoided and it's important to actually try it out for yourself before you buy. Some people say they get too hot, we noticed this at first but can't say we do now, and at this time of year find it very cossetting and snug. Never ever wake up like I used to with a dead arm/leg where a spring is acting as a pressure point on you. However it is very hard to get out of it in the morning!
yea i got 1 from direct from a factory, king for £250 and it went down from middle a lot he swoped it after a long 3 months wait and calls now iv got half memory foam and half spring, its still a bit down but i sleep on my own on it kicked hubby out so have all the space and and bit crap mattres i was going to get this offer but people on ukhotdeals said 8"is nothing get 10" but they cost £350 so im not going to bother

I just like to be organised and I hate when I've got outstanding refunds all over the place All the best fella.
Still waiting on my refund, they were quick to take and discuss making money on the phone. But still waiting on it.
