Very politely put, thank you. And you are right about bare root plants for serious gardeners (and in general anyone to be fair). This is more for the ones with less space/trying something new that’s otherwise not available, like that bite size no scoop kiwi I have my eyes on, but...oh well...only my eyes so far
I'm afraid I can't remember where we bought ours last time, but if you just Google bare root fruit trees there's a huge selection. As example from Suttons below, for the same price as 3 potted plants in this deal for £34, you can get 15 bare root plants of three varieties. suttons.co.uk/vegetable-fruit-plants/all-fruits/raspberry-bare-root-plants---summer-collection_244710 This site looks good too: https://james-mcintyre.co.uk/product-category/raspberries/

So this is the sort of growth my plants are getting, a couple haven't survived and some are doing better than others - does it look okay?
I think you just click in the comments box and there are 3 icons on the bottom right - if you click on the furthest right icon you should be able to upload an image - I'll try and post a pic of my plants now
I have taken photo but for the life of me cant work out how to upload for you to see, sorry
Does anyone have any pics to show how their plants are currently looking?
Mine arrived. Better than I expected & very healthy.

Thanks - I ripped up an old basket liner and used that. Worked a treat. Must have about 50 huge red strawberries on my aldi ones now. Time to pick them all I guess......................
Mine are doing alright, not great but not bad. However I certainly wouldn't complain, £2.99 for 12 plants delivered with free seeds. What do people honestly expect?
great. mine came in a plastic bag in a cardboard box all dried up. fortunately its starting to get a bit green on the leaves
They were put in a pot just in case with fresh compost and additional food (fish, blood & bone) but although there were one or two tiny green shoots after a few days, they are still not as good as yours in the photo when you received them! I think they were caught up in the mail for a day or two longer than they could cope with :(
