It’s a fabulous cruise. Good room, good ambience and a lovely ship!
Easier said than done when it’s a global problem. Equally if the Philippines looked after their citizens better then they probably wouldn’t be willing to work on the cruise ships for the low wages that most get. It’s all government, but that’s life. People only pollute at all because it’s the easiest route.... nothing is perfect
In that case government legislation needs to be changed fast in order to deter the economies of these dinasaurs.
The real problem is that cruises are only so appealing because hotels on land are taxed so much more and therefore there is a standard that can be offered on a largely tax free cruise ship at a much lower price than a land based hotel. It's a great example of how government legislation influence way of life in a dramatic way....
can't imagine why anyone would want a holiday in a ship that looks
like a floating battery-hen barn. To be confined in this vessel with
over 4,000 other passengers is my idea of hell. I always said cruises
are bad for your health, they are definitely bad for the environment.
The Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union (NABU) has announced
their 2011 “Dinosaur of the Year” award to the Cruise ship
industry. NABU President Olaf Tschimpke claims cruise ships emit
particle pollution equivalent to 5 million cars driving the same
distance as the cruise ship travels. For all would be cruise
passengers.... find something better & less damaging to the
environment to do. Cruises are from a bygone era. I just can't see
the fun in paying loads of money to go on a cruise with 4,000 plus
other people in the sea, just look what happens. What is commendable
is the 70 year old guy with two hip replacements & a knee
replacement who climbed Everest

Just above the £29'i' box is a drop-down called 'Select Your promotion'. There's a 'Short Break Package' option for £99 - but it says no more than that. You'll have to ring them if you want to know more I guess.

Yes you have to pay extra for a sense of humour too. If you are genuinely looking for a 2 day cruise, to somewhere as opposed to the delightful no where, check the link for cruises from £50 France to Italy or barcalona to italy .
"drinks are extra" So no its not! Also not inclusive of flights to Durban. maybe a decent price if you just happen to be in Durban at the time, but I doubt many of us will be :(
So, what is it -- an extra £500 for the return airfare to Durban? For the joy of 2 nights in the Indian Ocean. I think I'll give it a miss.
Haha yes it is, drinks are extra. Its a real cruise... follow the link!
this all inclusive? lol

It's all food and accommodation and entertainment apart from anything to do with alcohol (!) massages etc and what they call fine dining. You pay for shore trips booked on board and it is possible to book drinks packages. I don't drink enough for one of these usually but may go for a wine package as it's not too much. A lot of people prefer to do trips from the dock as they're cheaper - good especially if there's a few of you. Not sure you'd get a full board stay anywhere for about £45 a night for the best room - and get to see other places too. This would be a good one to try it out - cheap as chips!!
That's some good going! I have never been on a cruise before, are the prices for all inclusive, including drinks and meals, I can't seem to find any details on the site.
Just looked on the website I booked mine - it may still be available http://www.cruisedeals.co.uk/fusion/displaycruises3.pl?sessionkey=01F1232C~F2F1t490F-91B1-7883D675F54D&resultkey=default&sortby=price I had to phone them to get an even better price - £399! for the balcony suite Good luck
Amazing price, but I can't book it, I must have missed my chance. Do you get these offers by email, or did you just found it by chance? I might sign up if they email you offers like this!
if you're quick you can have one each for £405 or £225 if you want an inside, about £315 for an oceanview
