Currently on offer with £150 off this mower including free delivery.

Agreed, but different people have different priorities. For a model with a perimeter wire that can cover up to 700 sq.m. then the Ambrogio Twenty Deluxe is a better bet.

That's interesting, thanks. The downsides seem quite severe though and setting the wire up only has to be done once and then forgot about and can be done in a few hours, so on balance that's the preferable approach for me.

There is one robot mower that doesn't need any wires, the Ambrogio L60. It has sensors that identify the edge of the lawn (by bumping into something, by a drop in height or by a patio/ no grass). The downside is that you have to charge it manually and put it out yourself but it suits many people: Ambrogio L60 (comes in a 200 & 400 sq.m. versions).

Thanks for pointing that out, won’t bother ordering now

Put off a bit by the trustpilot review :(

I bought my iRobot mop from myrobotcenter and had no issues. The mop did come with a European two pin plug but they provided and adapter. Hot for me.

Come on Roomba, this price for the Plus.

For this price mate these are meant to be the dogs to be fair I expect other people will provide these opinion.

How does this compare too the Xiaomi ones?

Bought an iRobot m6 mop from these guys a couple of weeks ago. Service was great, received package in 2 days. I’d definitely use them again without hesitation.

This site rates them well Also use a protection if your that worried such as PayPal etc i think it's worth a go.

thank you so much for your words of encouragement for me to go out there and source more deals. It's truly wonderful to get such great advice from a person who's saved the wonderful users on here a maximum cumulative total of 50pence and a gargantuan total of 3 deals

Yeah okay big shot. I said guarantee because I knew the reply would be 'well I have so much more time to do this and that' just so he didn't have to say this machine is for lazy people. When you post a half-decent deal then you can talk.

If someone says "guarantee" in a sentence like you've just done always shows you can't trust them as they usually talk rubbish. And i reckon you always talk rubbish even if you say you don't

Mate your mind is on another level.

As someone with a lot of free time because of the level of automation in my life (e.g. I don't vacuum, a machine does it for me) relaxing eventually gets boring so you start doing more interesting things, learning and challenging yourself. If you haven't found that yet take a look at your life. How many things do you do because you *have* to do them, like mowing the lawn, or going out to buy food?

Yes I know it is lazy not to cut your own lawn, but I work long hours during the week and like to spend my time at the weekend with my family. There have been a lot of cold votes … Read more

[quote=Roger_Irrelevant]Cutting the lawn is not a chore.

Mowing is carried out mainly between March and October. Over summer: On average, mow twice weekly, dropping to once a week during periods of drought. Over spring and autumn: Mow once a week. Thats the advice from the royal horticultural society

75 db isn't quiet, ambient sound is 40 db, a quiet rural area is 30 db.

I have a large garden. Even with a ride on, it took 2 hours to mow the lawn. I was also left with two green bins of lawn clippings to dispose of. This does it automatically and because it cuts the lawn twice a week, there are no grass cuttings to be dealt with. Clealy this item is not for everyone, but for me it has been the best thing I have bought in the last 10 years. There are downsides: It does take time to lay the perimeter wire when setting it up for the first time. You still have to cut the very edge of your lawn. (It doesnt cut the edges)
