I am using their SP7 design and so far they are excellent (I was told that Amazon use this brand on their fleet of vans also).
Lol, I'm on about moving at 2mph getting in and out of a parking spot for example
I've had Nankang tyres before (not this model) and they were fine, would have them again if the price was good. I wouldn't know about how grippy or screechy they are as I drive sensibly. (Old person coming through)
I had some of these branded tyres on my car, the screechy noises they made at low speed was crazy. Felt ok and grippy once up to speed.
'Light-weight profile and narrow tread width design reduce rolling resistance.' I may be a geriatric cynic but I read that as the tyre having less grip and would have a higher force per unit area load that would increase wear under acceleration. And then 'scarifies the water film'?? Scratches the water film?? Their product description needs a bi of attention.
no, just aware of the danger of poor quality budget tyres. cost should never be put over safety
Thanks for your concern mate. But this is a top end budget tyre that retails for £60+ some places, that makes it a deal in my opinion. If you drive in a safe manner your likely to be fine, whatever the weather conditions happened to be and whatever brand of tyres you've got fitted to your car, fact. These are replacing a pair of Bridgestone's that cost £65 a pop, that have a worse wet grip rating and are noisier.
Wow bouncy you got shares in some other tyre company or something, calm down!

Using runflats can be life saving if you get a blow out at high speed, that is why manufacturers fit them but there are drawbacks, (high)price and comfort seem to be the main ones. Given that the chances of a blowout are slim and cars have been fitted for years without the need for them is the reason I ditched mine (as well as the previously mentioned drawbacks). I use a reinforced (XL) tyre which is in lieu of the extra rigidity the run flat gives and there seems to be no noticeable detriment to the suspension setup (on a 5 series Beemer).
Its not a 'bogoted' opinion, Im simply stating facts. Good quality standard tyres are far superior to good quality run flats. Yes many cars come with runflats but by no means are they are better. For the average joe they are fine, but for enthusiastic drivers not so much. My car came from the factory with runflats and were ditched by the previous owner - I simply carry a puncture plug kit and a electric pump (powered by cigarette lighter). Both can be had for about £15 on ebay. Using non-runflats will save you enough money to pay for breakdown insurance if you ever did get a punture.
Like all tyres it depends on what needs to repaired but most places generally advise against a repair on runflats (unless it's a straightforward puncture repair) whether that's because it's a money spinner to sell you a new one I'm not sure.
Mytyres used to be pretty good for prices but not so much now. Camskill and tyretraders usually do better if your looking for 17" and above. I have found Nexen 6000 (fitted on beemer) to be really good but avoid the cheapo Altenzo ones as I have these fitted to my 260bhp Saab and they are a liability - can't wait until they wear out !
Yes they can, I have had Bridgestone RE050A's repaired several times by main dealers.

Their own name will never appear in any market (Euro Oils in Redditch). Got this oil in our two cars (Scenic & Picasso), no issues at all. The big oil brands are, in my eyes, ripping us off big style, their image / quality all marketing hype, the link provided is the proof to that. As good, MUCH cheaper (and brough to your front door as well!) I don't work in the 'oil/ motor supplies trade' and have no other connections to the company mentioned either.
maybe you can share a link or tell us the name of the company so we can do our research im after some good oil that i can use as i try changing oil every 6k miles thanks
Grossly overpriced this oil. Fully synth, exactly same spec, (but not VW 507, but be honest, how many of us really need that?) for just over half including postage. Made by a British oil company 35 years in the business. Marketing hype adds a lot to the price we pay, but doesn't make it any better.
