No fitting. Why buy if you can't fit lol
You've let yourself down with that one (lol)
Could you have asked them to deflate the tyres and get at the original price (popcorn)
After waiting weeks my order was canceled, claimed the tyres were not available, they were still accepting orders for the same tyres after this, at an inflated price.
On another note anyone know if any Alloy websites are having sales, been on the lookout for ages
I dealt with this lot over the summer after buying tyres through their eBay store - all calls are routed to free sane cs dept (I'm pretty sure it was Germany) and they're hopeless! They sold me winter tyres that were supposed to be all season and even when I received them and showed the photos of the tread and labels, still insisted they were all season. I got them returned and a refund. The next time they're was 20% off I bought some summer tyres and....they cancelled the order - they had no stock. An absolute shambles of a company
camskill.co.uk have always been the cheapest I've found. And even if you do manage to find cheaper they'll match / beat that price.
Usually go to my local guy. Great service and any probs sorted. But just bought 2 MICHELIN CrossClimate 205 55 16 for £125 fitted on their last offer. Closest was £80 fitted.
Sometimes forget online! Go to a decent local tyre specialist who just fit tyres, they have always got the best prices. Last 5 tyres changes i looked very hard online and couldnt beat my usual tyre place on price including fitting.
It's also checked on the mot and serve you an advisery happened to my mum she had the original tyres on for years as she does very little milage..
My point was that its worth checking. Tyres do have a best before date and to be honest its probably not 5 years. Rubber will have hardened and possibly started to crack by that time. You comment about Ferrari tyres may as well be about lego ones. Completely different use case and compounds used.
Tyres are date marked nowadays
Ferrari make tyres? thats news to me :) Fresh tyres are always better, but yes for joe average its not going to make much difference. Certainly someone running a 2 yearold winter tyre will be much better off than Mr I look down on budget tyres with his premium summer tyres come the freeze.
Tyres do not age that fast. As far as I remember Ferrari manufactures tyres for their cars every 5 or so years because there is not enough demand to keep production line running all the time. So in worst cas scenario Ferrari owner gets 5 year old tyre that is still capable of driving over 300kmh. For me that is good enough.
Ordered Nokian weather proof last week got 20% off so cost £50 ea. And dispatched next day received today with lots of email updates throughout Impressed . Cannot comment on other peoples experience ours has been very good
Tried ordering a few times. Always delayed deliveries. In the end I cancelled orders and went elsewhere. Terrible company to deal with.
I ordered tyres from this company they cancelled my order as they said they couldn’t fulfil it yet still advertising more than 10 in stock on Day they cancelled it!
Why cold? If you going to be buying then 4% off is better than 0.
4%. Now that is generous.
I agree! 5% is an absolute joke of a discount! Vote with your feet and walk away to a different deal...
Be careful buying from mytyres. I ordered a full set of rims and tyres from them, as shown in stock. 2 weeks later, still no delivery, when I got in touch was told they didn't have stock of the tyres even though they were still shown as available on the website. Demanded a refund, that took weeks to get back. They had over £1000 off me for 2 months before I was refunded. As for the 5% discount, that's all they ever do, regularly.
That's odd! Yeah no worries (thanks for posting by the way)
Auto goes into deals when posting for me, I rarely post a voucher, can you report it please
Vouchers have their own section rather than deals ;)
summer starts in feburary now!
If I buy large quantity could I get more discounted price?
https://www.tyre-shopper.co.uk/special-offers/discount-codes They're usually cheaper along with their discount codes
Does not work.
Thanks a lot for this. Needed a set of Falken ZE914's for my recently acquired MG TF160 :)
Thats great (y)
great thanks. 10 second search saved me £20 (y)
That £20 off a set of 4 tyres for track days. It's almost the cost of getting them fitted....so Can't argue with that. Heat given OP
Their customer service is also a joke. I would not hand my money to these guys again if they were the last tyre company on earth.
Their tyre prices are a joke. Seems like they inflate the prices by 20% and then give a 5% discount code
Used this company 3 times now allways declined cashback so don't cost it on getting that back.
Tyre leader is pretty good (y) 🏻
There is also 4.2% TC cashback.
Summer tyres plus snow = fun. Now 5% off
Summer? Better get some stocked in my garage for the 5th of never
i have shopped about and for tyres for my car this deal is the cheapest by about a tenner. Thanks
5% is not really much to shout about. (I'm sure if you shopped around, that saving could be improved on...?)
Totally agree, IF you understand what they do and have a few bob to your name then it's a must. I have a high powered rear wheel drive BMW and it eats tyres and also awful in wet/sleet/snow/ice. a set of SottoZerros saw me glide by other similar cars in recent years of snow. Considering it rains in the uk 80% time the tread has a real difference... if you buy them at the start of summer then you can actually get them cheaper than standard road tyres ;-)
Winter tyres are not JUST about snow and ice, as I AM someone who has a winter wheel and tyre set, I would hand on heart say, the extra confidence in horrendous WET weather, that winter tyres give is more than worth the pounds they cost... -winter tyres have extra wide water removing channels, reducing potential aquaplaning... best things I EVER bought for my car, this will soon be my 5th winter season of using.. As with anything, do your own research, check out different brands and products, see how users rate them... (Other half has them too for on her car, and she whole heartedly agrees...)
Winter tyres here in the UK are the biggest waste of money going for how often they’re required (if at all
