Great price for a cracking modelling amp. Chose a tone or song title from the cloud, pass it to the amp, and bang you get that sound. Wanna sound like Hank Marvin one second, and Tony Iommi the next. No problem. Couple of taps on your Idevice or Android and it's done. Or make your own tone with a huge selection of amps, cabs and pedals. All from the app. Also plays great as a bluetooth speaker. Separate volume for guitar, so you can play alongside your bluetooth streamed track with your guitar sound barely noticeable or booming over the track.
Just noticed the code was posted already, so full credit for that to DeWiz :- Link I personally got it in an email from Nevada.....
That is very cheap. Just bought one for a lot more than that
Also note :- £30 educational rebate available. Link :-

I agree that a second hand guitar can often be a better buy, but lots of people would be wary of buying unseen, not knowing what state the guitar was in or whether it was set up properly, especially beginners. We managed to buy an almost mint Epiphone viola bass for my son for £50, but I'm not sure I would have bought it without trying it first. I prefer the sound of a strat or tele myself, but some reviews of the Les Paul guitar here: http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/reviews/electric_guitars/epiphone/les_paul_standard/index.html
I ain't a guitar snob. A guitar is just a tool to me as that is how I make my living and know from playing trade shows all over the world and visiting factories just how important the wood used, the nito lacquer, hardware/pickups and craftmanship is and I have yet to see anything mass-produced coming out of China that could take the workload I would ask of it. As I said... deal hot as it is a good price for this guitar if all you want is a cheapish Gibson Les Paul copy. For the money I would much rather buy this or this.
Agree guitar snobbery is crazy, Epiphone are a solid brand and make some great guitars - the Sheraton for one. Also China churn out some really well made guitars - check out the hagstrom brand.
I have an Ibanez Blazer from the 80's. Great guitar. I wouldn't dismiss a guitar just because it's made in China though, especially if it's an Epiphone as they are making some decent guitars these days.

10% off all online orders @ Nevada Music - Instruments, PA, Music production gear etc.
Bit of a niche market but there prices are on par with all the other retailers. 10% is added at checkout. Free postage if you spend £200 Offer on till 1/1/11
Its still a good deal though if you check the stuff out first. Dont know about you but I've noticed lots of people have banged up prices at the moment on gear. I wanted another UX2 and I got it from Nevada last year at £129 and now they are £159 almost everywhere :-)
I see your point completely. It really is a matter of shopping around, for example I was looking for a Focusrite Saffire 6 which is retailing at £139.99 at most reputable places + postage where they had it for £131 inc postage after the 10%. There was a french site offering amazing prices, unfortunately they didnt have what I wanted or I would of give them a go. :)
Hmmm not really, I shop there all the time and I've seen the prices tweak up ready for this promo. Still its a good shop and I've always had good service. Best I had was their birthday with 20% off for a day and off true prices :-) Example I want a baby T been thinking of getting one for a while and followed prices, but not been home to order one. Normally if you hunt its between £220 and £240, but now at Nedava its £264. Plus the Roland Drums I bought were £850 but now £899. There are still deals there, just check the base price first, if that's roughly what you pay then your onto a winner and not only is it better than the 3% vat poke in the eye, they also do a loyalty scheme. So if you are buying say a few items then checkout 80% of them and get money off for the 20% with your traded loyalty points.
damn good price. wish i had something like this when i was learning. fender rumble amp as well! pretty decent sound. if you're looking to practice bass, this is a great pack to get
Better value and just as good a sound http://www.wesleyguitars.co.uk/storefrontprofiles/DeluxeSFItemDetail.aspx?sid=1&sfid=44184&c=519508&i=245674948 free delivery if you buy from their ebay shop on certain items. Bought 5 from them now all with 1st class service and 48 hour delivery
