I thought gas was gas lol I've been using the b&m ones for years and they do the job fine. Butane is butane.
Fair enough. I've never noticed any difference between the ones I've bought from B+Ms and the expensive £4 a can CampingGaz ones that I've bought on camp sites when I've run out. For me, a butane gas can is a butane gas can.
yes but they are a cheapo no brand, these are from GoSystem, stocked by B&Q etc as they also make blowlamp gas. At least these are a decent brand
£26.90 delivered from a few amazon marketplace sellers (one of them has nearly 15k ratings). http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B0057XHOKY/ref=sr_1_2_olp?ie=UTF8&qid=1369652113&sr=8-2&keywords=camping+gas&condition=new They tend to be about £1 each if you can find them in bargain shops (B+M etc), if you don't want to buy so many. Cold from me sorry.
I have brought some convex ones off ebay, the flat ones looked ok, but I think mixed with well positioned car mirrors, your will judge distances fine... I know for £36 for the pair delivered for Aero 2 should I not get on with them i should pretty much get my money back on ebay!
Just picked mine up from the warehouse, the mirrors seem substantially better than the old £15 strap on type that i have. Fitted really easily onto my passat mirrors (oddly shaped) and once it was all tight i could remove and then put them back on to the exact same position. Also one tip i did read, have the mirror mounts as wide as possible on the mirror, this will help stability greatly. So rather than fitting with the mounts next to each other, try to have them as far apart as possible. Apparently a lot of people who complain that the mirrors vibrate either have the mounts close together, or it is the actual complete mirror vibrating because of the additional mirror (not much you can do about that without changing towing mirror!)
Maybe keep a watch out, this place always has some type of offer/discount on things.
