I should probably apologise for the fact that it looks like discount Britain seems a little more like "Discount London & the south East", Wales & NI apparently don't count (more likely had comparably better/more reasonable entrance fees in the first place!??!?) & if you're in or heading to Scotland you can go to the Edinburgh Dungeons or a seal sanctuary!!?!?

Please E-mail ALL complaints of Racism direct to Discount Britain.......

If you have a valid train ticket or London travelcad then check out the offers on www.2for1entry.co.uk

also see BOGOF tickets avail for major attractions in various mags etc, and on eBay if you can't find yourself...

Regional variations is not racism. Look the word up for its proper meaning before using it again.

OED definition of race -

3. a group of people sharing the same culture, language, etc.; an ethnic … 3. a group of people sharing the same culture, language, etc.; an ethnic group.4. a group of people or things with a common feature.

Wiki definition -

"The term race refers to the concept of dividing people into populations … "The term race refers to the concept of dividing people into populations or groups on the basis of various sets of characteristics and beliefs about common ancestry"

With these definitions of "Race" you could characterise a group or population of a REGION or COUNTRY as a race, & therefore exclusion or the singling out of this "race" as racism.....

While I'm back, many thanks to Alanrowell & Applesink for their WORTHWHILE & HELPFUL additions to this thread.

There is no sign of racism on the "Discount Britain" website. It would be racist if it chose to exclude Wales or NI -- to which there is no evidence. Going on the finger-in-the-air logic, it could be the NI and Welsh attractions are choosing not to participate because of the site's "English-ness" [sic].

As for CHARLIETHIRTYTWO's sarcasm... It would be impolite for me to comment further.

20% off is good. 2for1 by alanrowell is better.

Rather irritating (and pointless) that clicking on the 'Click here to print your 20% off discount coupon/voucher' proceeds to print the entire page across 3 sheets of A4.

do i have to print the entire page or just quote the personal number given when i order?

the best deals there are easily the BFI Imax cinema (check though as theres sometimes 2-4-1 on some shows).

And Eds Easy Diner, where they make the best milkshake on this planet. (And as a fan Ive been to various places around the world to try theirs). Food is overly expensive but you may enjoy the fattining chips with cheese\chili con carne on the top of them like in the Americans love.

This is only a better deal if you already have a valid train ticket or London travelcard which not everyone does.
So I my opinion both deals are as good as each other.

Heat and rep added.

you have to print the voucher and take it along to the attraction. the thing about this site is that you don't need to purchase anything to get the discount unlike the train deal. I don't know any offers that give you 20% off your total food and drinks bill either

Does everyone get the same code?!

just upping as this is still well and alive

Used this today to get 20% our entry to Whipsnade. Handed it over with no problems.

Bumping this up as it is half term!

Just noticed I can use this at Ed's diner! I am planning to take my daughter and her friend there for a 50's dining experience before we go and see Grease in the West End early next month.

Have just printed the voucher ready so will save me a few pennies!!!!

Although 11 months old, the offer is still valid.. bump
