No thx.

Disgraceful company ripping off hard working tax payers no thank you. Yes I'm sure many companies have done this and as they get found out we should boycott them too
There was report on BIG surge in registration of new companies during April-may to scam tax payers on government backed grants.
These people are disgrace to humanity.

It wasn’t, there were 3 separate places claiming under the Papa John banner.
Do they need any more helping out?
You guys need to read a bit more into the story.

This was a franchisee issue, not a company issue.

Are you the taxman or work for HMRC? Does it affect you in the slightest? Nope.
Its not your money, if the taxman wants to be foolish with the governments money and not clamp down on fraud then so be it.

Meanwhile, i see no valid reason not to save money on a pizza (something which directly affects your money)
Leave the morals of tax to the taxman and the MPs. It doesn't affect us - we are but mere minions.

LMAO another wannabe taxman, acting as though its your money they are taking.
I wonder if the HMRC is aware they have millions of unpaid employees working for and supporting them.
Its a shame they aren't as eager as you to pay back tax when they owe it.

Mate I ain't about to talk on anything other than the fact what this company has done is wrong and undeniable doesn't matter about other issues you want to balance it with. May be you work for this guy as you clearly have put time in to defend him.

Why? Normally its the government ripping us hardworking folk off, we've been given fewer public services over the last decade whilst paying more tax for it. Im all for clawing some of it back. The governemnt stole the money from the public in the first place.

You are not very smart. Of course it affect me. And if you were clever you will understand that it affect you too.
Every quid stolen, either because of bad political decision or because corruption (as this case), is a pound more they have to collect. Is also a pound less to pay police, or to improve NHS, build and maintain roads, etc. It also means for example the VAT cannot be reduced, neither the tax HMRC me and you give in every payroll, etc.
It's not that hard to understand, you only have to put a couple of neurons on it and think about...

Oh if only it was so simple, that the more tax the government receives means the more public services we receive in return. If that was true, then i would certainly support boycotting of companies that choose to perform tax avoidance.

But No, please don't be so naive. The reality is, There is zero correlation of the amount of tax you pay to the level of public services that you receive - No matter what the government or media will tell you. This has been proven countless times with the numerous stealth taxes that have been applied over the last decade accompanied with a sharp decline of public services.
The extra taxes will only go towards vanity projects and MP bonuses/Payrises and privatisation of essential services.

You really should look after your own money, rather than the governments and forget corporate tax avoidance etc. It fundamentally translates into the products being cheaper to buy since the business will have less overheads (tax), the consumer benefits from it!

I'm terrible sorry, I didn't read the other comment you posted.

I I had read them, I wouldn't waisted my time answering you. God free us of people with your way of thinking.
I supposse that as many politics are stealing, you are going to steal at any possible chance.
You are not part of the solution. People like you are indeed the problem.

Don't worry. Be happy and take all opportunity you have to do it wrong. Your childs will be very proud of you!

When all else fails, you can always rely on belittlement can't you?

Ah well, the government loves folk who follow the system to the letter so you'll fit in well with their design. Enjoy the field young sheep and never dare to risk raising your head or question why.
You leave no more doubts. If you were elected as Mayor or MP you would definitely be the lord of corrupts.
Disgraceful people.

It's good to see people caring about the ethnical responsibilities of the companies they consume from. I think it forms part of a wider calculus of wear you should consume from. Really regulation and reform have bigger impacts than consumer choice - but it's what we have.

I still chose to order from Papa Johns. They do a delicious vegan menu. Anything we can do to get people eating less factory meat will help reduce future pandemics. So while a franchisee has likely defrauded the government, the overall business is taking steps to make eating more sustainably more attractive. In doing so it's helping us all.

So overall - it's still a buy for me and thanks for the code
It’s the government ripping off taxpayers not papa johns.
