yes it is - I have one in it infact overclocked to 4.6ghz all core. SOLID vrms
Good enough for 5950x?
Just noticed the picture is for the Gaming Plus model. I wonder if it's labelled incorrectly?
Great motherboard and price, but keep in mind, Currys will send out this motherboard without any packaging (except for the one incl. with the motherboard), and when I received the item (ordered from Currys), it looked like it hasn't been handled properly. Sent back to Currys and ordered from amazon instead (make sure you mark it as 'Gift'), paid a bit more, but no issues with amazon!
Amazing price for this board. I have it with a 5600x and very happy with it.

I think with curry’s it’s the other way round….many have had a bad experience with a few having a good one.
I've had to return stuff to them after problems and it's been fine. I just wanted to present a balance because while you have had a bad experience, many others will have had a good/decent one, that's all.
It's only when things go wrong that you find out what customer service is really like
That's your experience, but I have always had good experiences with them.
Avoid Currys at all costs, terrible service, product arrived damaged, 20% discount offered but never received, pay cheap get crap service
I don't understand some overpriced peripherals - a mouse can only provide so much extra once it's comfortable, provides a nice range of DPI and has some extra buttons... Gaming headsets are another ridiculous example...
If a file manager is installed on the shield and its connected to a local nas drive, can content be moved from a usb stick to the nas drive using the file manager ?
If anyone needs sideloading stuff for this pm me
I still use my original 2015 shield every single day - it's been excellent.
Installed it today and i must say the AI upscaling is no different to a high spec TV like a Samsung q90T which was quite disappointing. I thought IPTV was give better upscaling to 4k but it certainly doesn't. Its no doubt quicker to select channels but comparing this to a high spec TV, all the apps are identical in terms of picture quality.
People can join marketplace on Facebook to buy and sell their things.. it's like gumtree.

I'd stick to the cube. I have a shield Pro and cube both only for streaming. I find the cube is enough for streaming.
I’ve been eyeing the Fire stick max but this looks interesting, i’ll be using it mainly for IPTV as my 2018 qled has some issue with the audio cutting out on iptv streams on any app - i read that this was due to the codec or something on tv
Have the agree, the AI upscale is vastly overrated. Having seen so many videos I was actually disappointed with it first time round. Now with the Firestick Max, I can’t see why anyone would recommend this. Especially when it struggles with 4K remuxes lol (lol)
Subscribe to part alert on discord/telegram and you'll be able to get an FE card fairly easily at RRP. The retailer that sells the cards have implemented good procedures which prevent people purchasing more than one. Most new cards have reduced hash rate (LHR) so they aren't much use to miners. Edit: also don't forget the AMD cards. They gave great peformance in terms of gaming but they a poor miners so can be easier to buy.
New fav toy? I have been saving since I bought my 3570k system over 6 years ago and still unable to upgrade because the newer gpu's have been constantly out of stock due to miners and 1 year later its still difficult to obtain and ones that are are extortionate prices because of people like you. I am not crying I am just angry and frustrated.
