Fair enough 👌

Jonathan_Hayman

Please read the post properly as it included premier Inns full English breakfast or similar and a 2 course evening meal and alcoholic beverage for adults. So the £149 per day to be precise (lol) is just spending money on entertainment/ activities or ice creams on one of many amazing beaches in Devon..... Obviously loads of other places are available as the UK has some amazing beaches.

So £150 p/day for activities, 3 x meals p/day for four people and and parking etc? Still think the OP has the much better deal.

Meg4929

I understand what you're saying but you're not taking into account accommodation and not having to travel a long way every day to take part in the activities, plus all food. I don't think this is a bad deal to be honest

That's good to know there's still hope of a holiday for those like me who have left it to the last minute to get something booked (embarrassed)

Thanks for the heat, they have some really good last minute deals at the moment for both the family and kids (on there own) holidays - even better if you pay for the kids to go on there own using childcare vouchers :p 5 days till we go 8)

LittleMax

I just came to share this as an excellent deal. Voted hot. There is also 2 adults go free per 1 child, if that works better for your family group.

mikefs

you can miss any activities you want or just send the kids on them and you can stay behind, Ive been to quite a few sites and I usually miss a few activities. Im going to Paris this year, we're doing the ultimate adventure and I did see that the pool is only open at specific times but it may be different in the summer months, it might be worth asking.

horsepills

Do you have to take part in all of the activities? Or could you book the Disneyland trip for example, and spend the days in the PGL centre by the pool, etc... instead of activities? I like the look of some activities but would like to relax for a bit too!

I remember the coach journey Manchester to Costa blanca and back (lol) (lol) would I hell do that now

How are disruptive children dealt with?

Quinoa

Dilemma. Only one space available and I have a 8 and 10 year old. Who should I send off to boot camp?

jrob01

My children (now 13 and 15), have been to Boreatton Park for a number of years (they accept childcare vouchers through my former employers provider). They always leave having a great time, and make friends whilst they are there. They have done many of the specialist holidays such as the motorsport and adrenalin (visit Alton Towers and Thorpe Park). My boy started when he was 7 and wouldn't stop talking about the good time he had. Highly recommended. They enjoyed the food, and have always stayed in the chalets or main house. Disruptive children tend to be dealt with swiftly by the assigned groupie. Staff are genuinely very good, and have a positive impact on the experience. The only negative feedback is having to wait in wet clothes after doing water based activities. Just be mindful that you have to buy their insurance.
