Does the nfc work in UK?

Totally insane pricing and makes a mockery of the enthusiast offerings, why pay more for less?

I have the 256/8. And it's a great phone all round. Paid £207 and worth every penny. Not a glitch doing anything. Worried at first about the fingerprint sensor but now I love that too. Don't hesitate if you want a big phone

I play a Chinese battle royale game called Knives Out. It's probably just a very badly optimized game, but my friends play it. I put the settings on medium/low and it still gets too hot and lags/freezes

Thank you (y)

I'd go redmi for camera, poco for just about everything else

Thank you for your answer. I saw a similar price for the Redmi Note 10 Pro. What is your opinion of which one is better than the two? I don't have a problem moving to android. :)

If you're OK with moving to android, then yeah good choice.

Hello MrSwitch, my iPhone 7 Plus is broken and I think to upgrade with this one. What do you think about this idea? :/ :)

Yup.....delayed it on day it was to be delivered...not happy.

MIUI is a decent skin. People say its full of ads but thats absolute rubbish. You can disable them all with a few taps. I do prefer Samsung's One UI, its the best skin out there imo but ironically you get ads when visiting the Galaxy Store. As for aggressive RAM management you mean it kills running apps? I've had no such issue with the Poco X3 NFC. Could be down to battery saving settings so again a few tweaks in the settings will most likely resolve the issue

What is wrong with "aggressive" RAM management?

What are these MIUI phones like? I keep seeing horror stories over very aggressive RAM management

I never mentioned the 120hz anyways , I was referring over the note 10 pro the better GPU Both phones have 120hz panels with the key difference them being IPS Vs Amoled Gets nearly the same score as the note 10 pro no it's not a battery hog

You wont be getting 120fps for the 120hz panel is all im saying. Is the better cpu a battery hog? Part of the appeal of the x3 is huge battery life.

The GPU in the 860 is over 2x faster than the 732g, it makes a massive difference in intensive 3d games

Yeah maybe 10 fps more.. 20 if you are super lucky? Still nowhere near 120 fps in a lot of games. I am majorly put off the OLED burn in issues mentioned in this thread. So yeah maybe the x3 pro is the way to go. I thought oled burn was sorted by now.. only on tvs huh.

But the 860 has a far more powerful GPU that you would notice in games

The Poco F3 looks like a lot of phone for the cash. Worthy of consideration. Not the best camera but likely good enough for most but the pixel peepers. Starts at £329 for 6GB, 128G… Read more

Got my jiffybag to send the phone back to Xiaomi.Using RM 24 will post it tomorrow. So probably next week before i get another phone :( Could have been worse and ordered from China for the cheaper price that would have been fun sending it back there (lol)

Last night i left it on at 100%, no wifi or anything, and this morning around 8:30 it was still 100% :)

We charged it to full, installed the latest update, rebooted it and it's fine now, 3% battery use overnight. :) No issues with the Halifax app on F3 or F2 Pro.

Hmmm weird! Hopefully others chime in too :)

I never got a chance to try it on the F3 but the RBS app works on Android 11 on my F2 Pro.

Poco is still part of Xiaomi it is just a separate sub brand of Xiaomi the same as Redmi are, as stated here POCO is a sub-brand owned by the Chinese electronics company Xiaomi Corporation. It was first announced in August 2018 as a mid-range smartphone line,[119] and became a separate sub-brand of Xiaomi on 17 January 2020 with entry-level and mid-range devices,[120] while Xiaomi itself produces upper-range and flagship Mi phones. POCO phones use the Xiaomi MIUI user interface on top of Android. In Q4 of 2018, the POCO F1 reportedly become the best selling smartphone sold online in India, beating competition such as the OnePlus 6.[121] The Pocophone was sometimes referred to as the "flagship killer killer" for offering high-end specifications at an affordable price.[122] The first POCO phone was released in 2018 in India on Xiaomi's website. It instantly became a bestseller with 700,000 units sold until 6 December 2018, becoming the best selling smartphone sold online in India.[123][121] Redmi is a sub-brand owned by the Chinese electronics company Xiaomi. It was first announced in July 2013 as a budget smartphone line, and became a separate sub-brand of Xiaomi in 2019 with entry-level and mid-range devices, while Xiaomi itself produces upper-range and flagship Mi phones. The Poco is built in India at a manufacturing facility built and owned by Xiaomi They are also building a second plant as stated here On 22 March 2017, Xiaomi announced that it planned to set up a second manufacturing unit in India in partnership with contract manufacturer Foxconn.[131][132] On 7 August 2018, Xiaomi announced on its blog[133] that Holitech Technology Co. Ltd., Xiaomi's top supplier, would invest up to $200 million over the next three years to set up a major new plant in India.[134]

It is similar to the Note 8, can be seen easily from the front.

Why are non-5G phones still being released? It doesn't make sense as your new 4G phone will be obsolete within months. I've tested 5G on the Three network with a mate's iPhone and it's phenomenal. About to cancel BT landline and broadband. Don't care about TV as so much stuff on FreeSat. Can't wait for my new F3 and I'm getting it on day one, regardless of discount.

Thanks for the advise I'll see if I can get the mi 10t

As I understand it Xiaomi still own Poco, they just let it branch off as a separate brand but still pull the strings in reality.
