Redeem £5 off First Amazon Treasure Truck Purchase

Found 6th Apr
I went to my Amazon app and saw the £5 off on the top left menu drop-down and saw this and just clicked sign up.

It should be there for those who haven't purchased from it previously.

Not there for me, possibly just for those who haven't signed up for the text alerts already.

Ermm. Thanks
Good.. got it, just need the treasure truck to come to my town now..
Neat! Signed up...not a clue what it'll be like. How exciting...I'm easily pleased
Mine said £5 off too but after I'd sighed up it said it's not valid in my area

So far the offers in my area have been pretty good. Decent discounts on a JBL flip speaker and Sony noise cancelling headphones amongst other things.
Nothing for me. I've signed up for it couple of months ago.
dump truck more like...
I’ve never heard of this. Region specific?
Good if you can get the truck near you but annoying when you cannot and Amazon Now etc.
All done. Wait and see what I get lol.
I never like the offers on the truck!
I just got a set of Sony h.ear on 2 headphones for £99 down from the £230 RRP this week and couldn't be more chuffed!
Treasure truck is amazing!!! On valentines day this year got a bouquet of 40+ roses, box of chocolates nd a card for a tenner!!!!
Cant find this offer, but i saw an offer for £5 of a £25 shop with Amazon Assist. Went to apply but it said, im ineligible as it looks like ive already used Amazon Assistant. I dont even know what it is, never mind already used it

UE Boom 2 for £50 is far from ‘tat’. I was skeptical too but it’s decent stuff actually.

Anyway it’s better than them sending it over to Amazon Warehouse at a discount and selling it as ‘used - like new’ then turning up trashed...

Not showing for me, London only?
It's on the Amazon Underground app but not the normal Amazon app.
Truck is totally random luck, whenever it’s got what I want it’s in the middle of nowhere or the middle of the day, not many folks can just run out of work for an hour to get a cheap pair of headphones

Don't like the idea personally, just put it at a lower price online and anyone can pick it up, only benefit to region specific, timed chance to pick it up is that amazon relies on the sort of trick of getting people to buy it for the fear it may be gone later. I'd prefer they just put it on sale online but it's another thing I'll miss out on since Amazon (despite their money) are poor at making this accessible for all areas.

What I wondered is... do they only have that product... and nothing else on the truck. If so what is the point? Not been to one but been tempted as one quite close to me every now and then!
Do you have to agree to give away shed loads of personal data and accept text messages every single day in exchange for a very slim chance of there being something you want matching somewhere you can get it.
If so it sounds pretty rubbish to me.
33606182-4KUDH.jpg**edit** found this on twitter from february this year for the cities this is working

I wouldn't redeem unless you're on this list since you wont get to use your credit before it expires?

If you've already got an Amazon account then you're not providing them any more personal data than you already have. I get about 1 text every few weeks, but then it might be more frequent in larger cities.
I registered my interest 2 days ago, so unsurprisingly not there for me.

They have an actual term for this: CRAP it out. Can't Realise A Profit. That's what they say in meetings: We need to CRAP this out.

Not sure if it's industry-wide but heard it many times while working there.

headphones i got for £ 99 half the price of anywhere else were very good for crappy tat
To anyone still looking at this deal, I just went into the app and kept opening and closing the side bar until the £5 off link appeared as it did for op.

Not a bad deal today and tomorrow either, £5 off for a £10 qi charging pad by Belkin. For central London today and tomorrow and only 5W but it will get the job done, thanks OP.
Just picked up a kilo of pork belly and 4 cans of savanna cider and a free pair of sunglasses all for the grand total of £4.99 thanks amazon, just got to wait for the sun to come out now
