My partner worked as a supply teacher through Reed. They were terrible, the pay was shocking and they often expected her to drive 50 miles at the drop of a hat. I recently found out how much Reed were pocketing from the schools and it is outrageous for doing little more than act as a dispatch service.
Is 100s of providers on market but make sure they're legitimate and accredited by ofqual or at least ABC
It’s a data gaining exercise. The whole thing. Wasting vulnerable people’s time. Criminals.
Reed is a joke. Most of their WFH and part-time ‘jobs’ are for filling out surveys....
FutureLearn is amazing (says this retired teacher). Part of the Open Uni. Mostly free courses during their duration. Real profs from accredited institutions. Lovelovelove FL. www.FutureLearn.com. Also eDx snd Coursera are reputable, and free courses can be found from MIT, Harvard, Cornell... :D

Leadership & Management Training at Reed for £10£10
(mad) (highfive) (highfive) So £40 for an accredited course? Still good isnt it? Or if anyone can offer an alternative
Makes you over qualified, similar to if you say you can get yourself dressed on your own.
OPTION-I: Endorsed Certificate of Achievement from ABC Awards At the end of the course, learner can claim an endorsed certificate by paying £170 accreditation fee+postal charges. this will give you a proper certificate like from a college and from a approved awarding body
Surely a level 7 course such as this would give you that confidence. I just need the business attire now.

They can't, ABC awards is not recognized by "ofqual" so all you really have is a cert for attending this course, which you may have to pay for (the certificate) at extortionate rates.
Wait so some of these courses cost £760 originally? (ninja) I’m very skeptical about the reputation of these Reed courses though. If you’re serious about breaking into a specific job area then look at doing a chartered course (CMI, CIPD etc). They’re more expensive but they will hold a lot more weight on your CV.
Are these likely to be worse/better/equal to udemy courses on the same subject?
You just need to click the link and type "pharmacy" in the search box, it takes a few seconds. There are 30 courses in total, some are very cheap. Although if you can't click through and search you may struggle with the course (cheeky)

Brought to you by higher rates of income tax and increases in council tax not seen in the rest of the country. It's no rose garden up here!
Thanks for this not heard of them before. Have requested some information to see. I noticed a possible web development course also would need to see if I would be entitled to funding.
"Just for viewers in Scotland" - makes a change! (y) Brought to you by the nice people of Education Scotland - today's letters, in no particular order are "N" "P" and "S"
Not really " free " for everyone .. some that have maxed out there saas funding for this year ... hopefully folk read that incase they are going to college etc this year . Not in full-time education or modern apprenticeship and not using SAAS funding for any of the current courses you are studying

Training for Sage 50 down to £24 @ Reed
A good deal for those looking for Sage 50 training. My first post so be gentle :)
See my comment posted just after yours. I think you’re right in saying this is just ‘pre training’ for the real qualification.
Anti-Money Laundering Course - Level 3 CPD Accredited I'll bet £10 they don't ask me where I got the money from to pay for the course!
Can anyone here advise if this PRINCE2 course is actually accredited? I’d like to train myself to be a certified project manager. Not sure if I should buy this course or buy from the official website? https://www.reed.co.uk/courses/project-management-9-course-bundle-prince-2-pmp-january-sale/68171#/courses/discount
These online courses confuse me... I'm just done first aid training for 4th and got my certificate re issued but these first aid online course are not real first aid qualifications right? Without testing or practical training it counts for very little... I'm very suspicious as to what these courses are for... is it pre training before real training? Also 500 rrp to 19 quid... 500 could pay for an entire workplace first aid course with equipment dolls and professional tutors...

No, you dont have a clue. http://ofqual.gov.uk/qualifications-and-assessments/qualification-frameworks/levels-of-qualifications/Give me a break. level 2 is not a qualification, its a framework system encompassing a variety of different qualifications. As someone who apparently advises employers, you should know better.[image missing]
As someone with these qualifications and has had experience talking to employers about them, you have no idea what you're talking about.
Sorry but that made zero sense. Gcse grade a-c is level 2.
Nah level 2 is not equivalent as it's seen as a lesser/unknown qualification compared to GCSE.
You should get a grip,it seems as though whatever grade you got at school, it wasn't enough to stop you from posting illogical and rude puke all over this thread. Now you seem to be changing the subject from level 2 being equivalent to primary to "C is not enough" to assist a teacher...... ASSIST!! a teacher in a primary school teaching far bellow a grade C in maths.
