No one ever visits my house do you think this will help me gain visitors if I buy one?

So worth it. We love ours. Peace of mind!

Cheap coz of the ease of hacking and the major security concerns about them now.

No they’ll see it and walk away!
Nice find thanks OP! Been looking for the ring pro for a couple of days. They often go on offer but are selling for RRP at most major retailers currently. Might take the plunge with this voucher!
Bought Ring 2 + Chime bundle for £139 from Argos 6 months ago. However, £129 is still a good price for this.

I'd go for Ring 2 rather than Pro cause the latter only works on power. Unless your existing doorbell is at the right height (mine was at hand level) it's worth going for the battery model, aka Ring 2.
Fantastic device, pity the design is just so cheap looking and awful plastic

That works out at 174.5 for each device which is still not as good as some of the recent offers when buying seperately.

I recall I paid £25.... for the year (£2.08 a month, 48p a week, less than 7p a day) you can pay monthly @- £2.50 a month. not too bad considering it’ll store vids to the cloud for 60 days and let you download them to your phone. Night vision works well, albeit freaked me out the next morning when a large spider walked over the lens(embarrassed) Usually only have to charge once a month if that and just do it overnight.

Which model does this happen to you on?
The original Ring doorbell, the app is running on the latest iPhone so there should be an issue there, the launch is too slow is the problem.

Link doesn't work on the mobile app, they paste as plain text, and you need Apple News to view it.

However, the device is alot more secure than the computer or the phone you are using to type here.

Ok Well I’m happy with a mostly anon (but hackable, as is most things) phone, rather than the risks of a ring doorbell and the potential insurance violations of a ring device. Deadlocks, deadbolts, window locks, and good insurance plus not having a gimmick providing false security. Works for me.

It's a camera with a microphone and speaker. Deadlocks, deadbolts and window bolts don't even come into the equation here. I have to ask, what on earth are you going on about? You seem to be very very confused about what a Ring doorbell is and what it does.

Omfg. Bless your heart.
A ring doorbell can be hacked (creating a blank-loop, as in from films) thusly crating a false positive alert but in the event of a video being alerted to the owner, it can be a blank... it offers no security if it can be hacked.... as such, I’m on about proper home security protocols, rather than a hope on a device (which in light of the easy hack) won’t count as a security device to insurance purposes. Please don’t assume that knowledge deeper than yours is ignorance.....

Yes, these are useless. The only viable doorbell is the Nest Hello.

You thought the ring doorbell controlled doors and windows. No matter what you say, you as a person will not be taken seriously. Good day.

Hilarious.
I'm not following the numerous 'it can be hacked' posts. Every electronic device on this planet can be hacked. It's just a matter of time and effort. I presume the posters banging this drum still use smart phones with their personal data on? It's a cheap device providing 24/7 remote visibility of your property and much cheaper than installing a hard-wired CCTV system.
