sorry, hadn't noticed the reply. I don't do anything special for the easy fundraising site such as clearing cookies. For topcashback I do make sure that the cookies track (TCB site tells me if my adware blockers are affecting it). easy fundraising site works well and CB occurs once payment is done (ie with Amazon when parcel dispatched which is when they take the money from you).
I use The Giving Machine. Large choice of charities and you can select more than one, and the percentage to each, for every purchase through them :)
Yeah I noticed this a few months ago when I had an issue. Seems now they copy and paste a generic reply hoping you go away. Thats live chat anyway, not had the pleasure of telephone support.
No of course not for free, but if i had said skills and was head of a charity i wouldn't take a fat cat salary either i would work for a very modest salary enough to get by because i wouldn't be in it for the money i would be doing it to help others, which is what charitys should be about
You are dead right there. Amazon pay their lower end staff peanuts (drivers, warehouse and customer service) and they definitely get monkeys. Some of the CS staff you simply can't understand, and Amazon know that. In the end you give up and go away. It's a real shame, two or three years ago their staff were exceptional, now they are just "special", as my Mum used to say.

Shop at Amazon? They will donate 5% to charity with every order.
Some may not know this but Amazon will donate 5% of sales to charity here in the UK to support our lifeboats. FIVE PERCENT! That is a lot on every order and better than Amazon tax … Read more
When I tried to use the Macmillan link in a deal ( not the main deal link mind!) the mods here quickly removed the deal. Nice that people power has stemmed that - as shown with having this post.
And you just need to read more. He didn't say they weren't paying min wage, he said they should pay them more :)
How about Amazon donate some money to 'Save the Rainforest' as well? Thier packaging is absolutely ridiculous.
That is a good website as well. Although, I think customers are more likely to visit cashback websites where applicable. Are you not able to bookmark the page when you land on Amazon? It will have the referral link in the URL.
I'm late to the conversation but the give as you live website is pretty good as tallies up your donations... You can select which charity to donate to. I have the aspinal Foundation from Kent who are awesome guys. Unfortunately the Android app is terrible and hasn't been updated and I always forget to go to give as you live website. :(

Shop on Amazon to save lives - minimum 5% of all order values donated to the RNLI
Seeing as a lot more orders will be placed on Amazon today by fellow HUKDers, I thought it would be good to remind people that a minimum 5% of your purchase value will be donated t… Read more
RNLI waste lots of money, very disrespectful to their dedicated fund raisers.
I couldn't agree more, I'm not going to get into the politics but it's amazing that as an Island we don't fully fund the lifeboat service.
im surprised hotukdeals allow this. this is how the site makes money. every time a deal is posted and you follow the link they make money. I think this post is technically against the rules because its a referral link :p

Free Beach Smart Safety Pack from the RNLI
To claim your free HOLD TIGHT, HAND UP! Safety Pack, just fill in this form with your details. Then look forward to these goodies landing on your doorstep within 10 working days:
Worth having if you have children that you'll be taking to the beach during summer. I got a pack last year as well and it has indeed come in handy. It is probably worth pointing out to those just apply for everything on the basis of "well its free, innit?" won't find anything useful in the pack and would just be wasting RNLI resources by ordering it.
has got some animated stickers
i have no idea what this is but ordered :)
Anyone know what's in these?
Excellent - heated.

Ordered it last time and it arrived today with a note apologising for the delay but they had underestimated the number of requests they would get
Got mine today ;) from last time this was posted.
I requested this when it was first posted as I thought it would be good for when I'm on the beach with my son during the school holidays but I'm still waiting for it and the summer is nearly over. Maybe I'll get it and use it next summer :)
The RNLI are now providing Lifeguard services on about 200 UK Beaches, which might explain this. We saw them on The Gower recently.
thanks hadn't seen the other post x
