Cheap flights are still out there from the UK . Just need to change dates and airports and tie in a couple of nights in the UAE

I only did a very quick look for flights, so I expect cheaper to be available, it was the cost of the cruise was amazing. £200 for 7 nights in a balcony. Some people may already be out there and can add it on.

Freezing cold just booked same from Newcastle plus. 4 nights in hotel for £ 1226

Which one did you get deal from plz

Deal posted already and these flights are extremely expensive. A cruise travel agent is doing it for £699 with flights and a hotel stay in Dubai, shop around for flights if booking this cruise.

Amazing deal

Price drop £449pp If you want/need AI check out Raphsody of the seas TA.

Not many, that have multi night stops but they do exist you need to do some research. A common option is to add a land based extension

Are there any cruises that do not involve going to different countries for a few hours to the most expensive area (port) on an island? Cant you stay a few days and properly visit an island?

All Royal Caribbean cruises can be upgraded to true all inclusive. Just purchase one of their drink packages to suit.

Thanks Im not a massive drinking fan so I guess it won’t matter too much

Food , entertainment , tea , coffee , juices , water are free at breakfast, lunch and dinner and in the buffet on all cruise lines . It’s just alcohol you pay for . Unless you buy a drinks package or go for a all inclusive cruise . Use google you will learn a lot

So do I look for an all inclusive cruise, to take advantage of included food/entertainment/drinks?

It all depends on the cruise , we do a Caribbean cruise once a year . See 7-10 different islands . Eat top quality food . Drink lots of alcohol. Watch entertainment in one of the venues . We always pick the huge super ships like Britannia ( P&O ) or Harmony ( Royal Caribbean ) . As they have 15 bars , 12 restaurants, cinemas , ice rinks , water slides , wave pools , and much more . Then we enjoy the Caribbean beaches in the day . Normally go December as it’s about 27 everyday and hardly a drop of rain . We mix our holidays up so we try to do a all inclusive beach resort , a cruise and Las Vegas every year . Self employed so I can take as much time off as I want .

Thats a vast improvement on our wait time of about 2 hours, so somethings definitely changed. I just remember utter chaos, walking past a massive queue consisting of people from our ba flight and other flights, to find someone who could tell us where to go. We got directed to an area where you firstly completed a security check by yourself, then we had to go through a manned passport control. Good thing was getting a cab immediately as we were one of the first out. We got to our Miami beach hotel about 6 or 7pm, while others from our flight finally walked in about 10pm, which may have had something to do with security staff dropping like flies due to it being a particularly busy Saturday!

Guaranteed inside cabin?? Makes it sound like its an upgrade.... from what lol

We just came back from Miami yesterday after a cruise. I would agree that Miami airport has been a pain in the past but this time we went from plane landing on the runway to in our hotel room in downtown Miami in less than an hour. We used the automatic passport control gates at the airport and went straight through. We saw so many passengers from our BA flight not realising you can use the gates and going to line up at the immigration desks which take ages. We were really impressed especially after the normal 2/3 hour waits of the past. Regarding the Trans Atlantic cruises... We have done 2 of these and treat them the same as we do a resort based beach holiday. Lots of time to relax with a good book etc. Just remember that when doing a west to east crossing you will lose an hour on some of the days with the different time zones you cross. On both our cruises (also with Royal) they made the time change at noon so it didn't affect you too much.

I am glad it is not from Southampton to New York!
