Not just these but if you check the recent salaries list every single major charity director in this country gets over 100 grand! Disgusting its time these charities were brought to book its just a shame for the animals and the causes our money is supposed to be going to - all lies and obfuscation you cant trust anyone or anything anymore!
Wow, sure is an eye opener. Ive too donated many times and raised alot of money in the past for them. Didnt know it was to line the boss's pockets. Think i need to do some research on this.
Donated to RSPCA for 30 years until this year when i found out the managing director gets paid more than the prime minister £230,000 and two of the lesser directors get £120,000 each - Disgusted is the word!!! https://www.civilsociety.co.uk/news/rspca-accounts-show-pay-out-of-almost-200-000-to-executive.html https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2364755/RSPCA-fatcat-rakes-45-previous-boss-reveal-figures-spending-LESS-animal-welfare.html Even after these articles they are now paying the MD even more! Cancelled my SSPCA direct debit as well when it was also in the news £220,000 a year! https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/727733/Scottish-SPCA-boss-resigns-pay-off-row-salary-Stuart-Earley Is it just me or does anyone else think that these so called bosses should not be taking salaries like this? I am all charitied out! (mad)
Completely! I had a stray cat always coming to my door and I found out that his owner had simply kicked him out. I didn’t mind feeding the cat now n then, even took him to the vets as it was injured, rspca couldn’t help due to being over busy. It’s a shame but there are so many animals that need help :(
For info RSPCA only covers England and Wales. SSPCA are the main organisation in Scotland and the USPCA in the North of Ireland.

I wonder how much the RSPCA head honcho gets i have had a direct debit with them as well for over 30 years would be hellish to hear if their MD was also getting over 100 grand! Well done Sherlock. Pretty damn obvious. You don't think they just want to give away a load of bags for the fun of it?
Cold. Support the charity, don't take from it (annoyed)

National Dog Fighting Awareness Day... THE RSPCA has launched a new campaign against dog fighting after shocking figures show the sickening bloodsport is ‘rife’. The animal welfar… Read more
I reported a dog fighting ring to West Midlands Police last year, seems they are all barking mad - I later found out during Christmas from other people at a park, a few of them are involved. Hence still going strong (skeptical)
Derek's got the right idea or put them in a cage with a hungry lion.
People involved in Dog Fighting should be turned into dog food. Stake them to the ground and let the dogs eat 'em alive.
Please don't leave your dog unattended outside shops or in public for long if at all as many are taken and used as bait. If you're thinking of rehoming your dog online for free, please contact a dogs home or animal charity and they will make sure he/she go to a good home. Many people procure dogs this way and use them as bait. Sad to see its on the rise again but good that RSPCA are creating awareness. Thanks OP!

Haha- just listened and sorry to say its awful. The intro is a minute too long, and the guy isn't singing in time with the backing track. I've voted hot though as I love animals and any support for an animal charity gets my vote...it's just a shame about the song..
Rather just donate some dosh!

Whichever animal charity that you wish to support it's your choice. Check out their accounts/status at the Charity Commissioners Also I believe the RSPCA is the wealthiest animal charity in the UK
So what animal charity is teh correct one to donate?
RSPCA are a bad charity to donate to. They are more of a company and little to none of your money actually reaches the animals.
Perhaps not the comments I expected on HUKD but both are correct in their take on the RSPCA. Apart from the RSPCA's political stance the salaries paid to their 'executives' are excessive and lets not forget that unlike other animal charities the RSPCA destroys health animals. Hope this does not offend but the truth often does.
