Does it come with Panda Security??
Nah, she tells me off for mentionin' grass all the time, and doubly so if I pinch it.

BEWARE this is a fake gorillapod, the hint is in the "Gorrilapod". The quality is very poor, this is the sort of product you find in poundland.
As with a lot of photographic gear, be aware that there are fake "gorillapod" tripods out there. I bought one recently (i knew it was fake as the price was just so good) and it seems fine for what I paid for it. Just looking at another store (cameraworld.co.uk) they say the standard gorillapod (which is 19.99 there) has a max weight of 335gm. At Safield their one says 275gm. Maybe this is an even smaller version?
It's the cheapest I've seen this (by quite a margin!).
Would just like to highlight that this is under a tenner when you use the voucher and claim quidco!
I second that - extremely useful!

Yea saw those, Aldi ones handle switching power of 3200w so think I'll stick with these. Just annoying 2nd remote is redundant now. Well expect I'll use it for xmas lights next month!
Can't imagine the problem you mean!? Surely lights that are switched ON, are lit up, and the off ones are dark! Most equipment has LED display, so that would be no problem either. You can even hear them switch too. A few people I know have bought some once they saw mine. Not had the slightest problem with mine, They switch in other rooms faultlessly too, hence I bought a second set for other gear. I use them for PC stuff, router( which is upstairs well away from my pc), Media Storage, also some AV gear. It means I can switch on what I want, when I want, and turn it all off without scrambling behind the TV or PC.
good price but sorry these are largely novelty and ended up not being used as the remote was always at opposite end of room for lamps and remote ones in other rooms often failed to respond to on switches. when is someone going to come out with one the has an led indicating status of plugs??
The ones that csiman posted earlier will do it. But personally I only use them on lamps, use on other stuff at your own risk.
Yep I thought this was the case. Tried pressing both remotes at same time but theory behind that is flawed as its the remote that generating the code. Wanted to have a remote for downstairs and a remote for upstairs (unless they control separate sockets), but guess thats a no go with these. I have the ByeBye sockets at my parents which allows multiple remotes but the range on them is no where near as good. Cant win!

Just spotted a couple of items on this site that I fancied buying... did anyone get the light from them? Just wondered if they were a good site to buy from? Kim
Anyone use this site before? Never heard of it before so a bit cautious.
this is cool, but since it blasts the stars in all directions, doesnt that mean it'll always be blasting light in your direction too. What does it use as a light source?
