Nice little flash drive, especially good for sticking in something like a Chromebook for long term use.

I've had one for quite a while - can be fiddly to get in and out of the USB ports, but good for sticking on a set of keys or for leaving in something. I think I've ended up using it as the boot drive for an UnRaid install.

Obviously more expensive with delivery for non-prime members.

  • An ultra-small; low-profile; high - speed USB 3.0 flash drive that’s ideal for notebooks; game consoles; in-car audio and more
  • Simple; fast way to expand storage by from 16 GB to 128 GB for more photos; videos; music or gaming
  • Transfer up to 15 times faster than standard USB 20 drives. USB 3.0 enabled (USB 2.0 compatible)
  • Transfer a full-length movie in less than 30 seconds
  • Keep private files private with included SanDisk SecureAccess software

If I remember correctly these model comes with some sort of heating issues due to the small form factor or something like that.

Yeah, they get a little bit warm when under heavy load, but I wouldn't call it a heating issue as such. I understand why people may not be so happy with that though.

I've plugged one of these into my wife's netbook to boost the 32gb storage and it works well and is also utilised by Windows when doing operating system updates. No heating issues there but I originally used one plugged into my router to stream my ripped music for my Sonos system and it got really hot. I now use a normal stick for that which just gets warm when being pushed hard.
Hot for the form factor, you can use these on ultrabooks and leave the plugged all the time. The only issue is these get very hot. I will suggest to go for the plastic version, or even better, for a Samsung thumb drive.
If you want a good discreet looking flash drive this is the one, I got 2 last year.

I also went with Samsung 128gb as my SanDisk 64gb thumb gets red hot, definitely happier with the Samsung
