So it’s actually best if we both picked the same year? Or there’ll be places we can’t access together? Thanks for the heads up
Rockers is what we chose.. You get given a 'quest' kinda thing, which varies depending on which year you choose to go for. The Rockers one was pretty cool. But then there's one area you can't access unless you choose a different group. Trying not to give anything away, lol
I’m thinking of maybe picking either as hip hopper or rockers, as it seems the easiest to dress Maybe just wear some classic style trainers and get a Hawkin tee and cap Not too keen of dressing up
It was my first Secret Cinema too, totally wasn't sure what to expect. I'm not the most socially outgoing person so I found it a little bit awkward at first, as did my pal. But once we got into it we really enjoyed it. The area was pretty huge, you can go wherever you want whenever you want. You can miss parts of it though, we experienced something just as we came in.. But someone 5 minutes before or after us would have totally missed it. All the characters are mixed in with the crowd, they involve you in what's going on. Every single person we saw was dressed up, which I wasn't too keen on doing haha, but so glad I did now. Have you chosen your 'year group' yet?
Me and my GF booked to go late January But haven’t been any secret cinema before How does it work? Can you more or less go anywhere on the set while they act out the story? How big was the area? Are there lots of other people on the day you go? Did every1 (other customers) dress up for their part?

Aw, my niece would love this.
You get all the blurb sent to you within a couple of days. It’s near Canning Town - not a nice area but easily accessible on the tube. I’m afraid I don’t have any recommendations for hotels though, other than maybe not in Canning Town! Don’t sweat the dress code too much. Just get in the spirit of it. I’ve never done the VIP thing so can’t tell you if it’s worth it or not. There was very little queuing when I’ve been, but get there early to make the most of it
Thanks. Any hotels that you can recommend, even if just for (hopefully) proximity? And do you know how far in advance you find out details of where it is, what to wear, etc.? Also, do you reckon the premium ticket (double the price) is worth it, with it being 50% off? I think I'm mostly concerned about having to queue for stuff, but not sure how much of that there is or how it affects the experience?
They’re usually in East London since there’s a lot of industrial spaces. The last two I did were in Canada Water and Canning Town. Probably a fair guess it’ll be around there

Looks great. Paying extra to watch third rate actors reenact parts of films in front of the screen using cheesy props. At least they make some of the venues so large you don't have to see them in any detail as you're so far from the screen/stage.I can just imagine the hamming going on and the quality of the added dialogue.
I think you missed his point ;)
Hadn't heard of the San Diego Sneak version. Is that the one before they decided to add the voice-over?
Looking forward to this! I went to the Back to the future one and it was an amazing day! Bit pricy, but had a great time
