I've had this shaver for a year and after many Braun shavers found this to be better than the Braun 7 series and more on par with the Series 9. I've got tough stubble and where the Braun use to struggle I don't get this with the Panasonic I definitely won't be going back to Braun in a rush. 😁 It's just a shame the cost of the foils as I need a new one now and it's either £39 for the foil on its own or £50 for the foil and cutter pack (the cutter is ment to last 50% longer than the foil but for the extra £11 may as well replace both at once). I guess its a lot cheaper still than if I was to go back to wet shaving as Gillette blades only use to last me 2 shaves with my tough stubble. 😁
Theyve had reasonable prices on Panasonics for some time now. The newer model ES-LV67 is £100 and the 97 with cleaning stand is £125 but was as low as £100 at Costco last year

Panasonic ES-LV95 Arc5 Wet & Dry 5-Blade with Cleaning System Men's Electric Shaver - £109.99 delivered @ Shavers£109.99 Free P&P Free
Thought I would post this as I have had this shaver this shaver without the cleaning station for over 6 months and love it. 😁 I've always had high end Brauns and Phillips … Read more
Sorry I should have added a YouTube review of some tester comparing it with a Braun Series 9 shaver:
Hi there, I believe the foil and cutter together to be around the same price but you can buy them separately and I believe one lasts longer than the other (sorry I forget which one). Also if you damage the foil you can buy that on its own so don't have to shell out for a whole new head like the Brauns. They do seem expensive for these higher end shavers but I always think its a very good shave and how much I would have spent on Blades if I had been wet shaving (I normally only got 2 decent shaves out of a wet blade before it would tug on my tough stubble). A link here for the items but may get them cheaper elsewhere: shavers.co.uk/panasonic-es-lv95-arc5-wet-dry-5-blade-with-cleaning-system-men-s-electric-shaver/spare-parts-and-accessories.html https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00STPT5HC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_JjTbFb942NKS8
Is the replacement foil/cutter more expensive than brauns?
Have one not bad

Panasonic ES-ED53 wet and dry epilator £39.99 at Shavers£39.99 Free P&P Free
Good reviews and looks like a great price from what I can find. Looking to replace my Braun Silk-Epil with something a bit more reliable...
1. Use shaving oil 2. The packaging, the build quality IS very good. What did you expect, an all metal body? 3. Your not meant to shave longer than 3 days hair. If you do, use the trimmer first.
I haven't been impressed with it. Build quality is very cheap (total lack of metal which I wasn't expecting). I found it very poor on the neck hairs (it misses absolutely loads and just totally struggles to catch them even going over the same area loads of times). It also caused a large amount of irritation on my neck (I don't get any irritation at all with other wet or dry shavers, not even with the Philips One Blade which many do). It's absolutely terrible with foam or as a wet shaver so only any use as a dry shaver which is kinda annoying as I found I need the foam to stop the skin irritation with this shaver. Also - I hate the horrible noise it makes - I fully understand now all the reviews unhappy with the noise. It takes forever to shave with this thing compared to other shavers I've used.
This is available again now. Just ordered it. Coming from a Braun series 7 so hopefully I won’t be disappointed. For all those that mentioned it being an older model it has the same foil and blades as all the latest ones, just no 5D movement

Panasonic ES-LV65 Arc5 Wet & Dry 5-Blade Men's Electric Shaver £89.99 @ Shavers£89.99£11924% off

I add oil after a rinse clean. It seems to bee less noisy and shave much better after oiling. Bought some clipper oil for it.
This has gone back up to £104.99 now. I was dithering over it - and missed the good price?! (annoyed)
I was curious about that. With my old Braun I only applied it to the fool after I needed to charge it and after I'd cleaned it under the tap and it had dried but do you recommend every time? Thanks Mark.
Make sure you use some of the supplied oil on the blades to make them last longer.
