I have the q80t55 for my Ps5. Outstanding quality next best thing to the OLEDS without the worry of screen burn 2.1hdmi 120hz which covers you for the long run. You'll find advice saying wait etc but you could do this every year, as technology always improves.

Sydney-Steve

Great deal. I paid not much less than this for the 55 inch version last year. Great set.

ColinRoy_Arnold

This looks good. Does anyone know what the Game Enhancer+ is like and how this handles next-gen gaming?

I don't think this includes the earbuds, unless I'm missing something?

hamtt

I have a 65 c7 and its perfectly fine, good as new, used everyday for several hours and not a hint of screen burn or discoloration.

thesinstar

C7 notorious for burn in. C8+ less so. LG puts so many preventions in these days you have to be abusing the sets to get that sort of burn in, such as turning the TV off at the mains etc.

banbinobear

I have an LG OLED C7 that was £2800 when bought. The whole screen is burnt. Now TV and Netflix burnt into any red or yellows

Nope, but Samsung QLED does at the high end: https://www.sammobile.com/news/samsung-neo-qled-tv-rated-best-tv-all-time-german-av-magazine/

felton92

Brightness doesn’t mean the best picture quality

Tony_DR

Sure it it "replacing it" if you have £20k+ to spend. For now at least the best TV picture you can buy < £5k is a Neo QLED though, just like the Q950TS TS was the best TV last year.

felton92

I take an interest in all technology deals on here but this guy hates on OLEDs any chance he gets based on a 2016 version of the technology, overblowing things. I own an OLED but both have their advantages and disadvantages, that doesn’t make me a fanboy.

davidridge1

Why does an LG OLED fanboy keep posting against a Samsung QLED deal?

This is the lowest price I have seen for a 55" OLED. This is the BX, not the slightly better CX, but seeing it below £1k might be good for some. This includes a 5 year warranty… Read more

Thanks op - went for this offer, company seems to have decent reviews/ customer service.

MaggieSmith

I'll be honest I don't see that option

spinach_pie

You should be able to edit the title?

MaggieSmith

Too late to edit the post, but the headphones are regularly being sold on eBay for about £40. This takes the net closer to £900.

spinach_pie

Nice! Also, for all the masochists out there, Currys should be able to price match this too.

How you finding the speakers Stuby? I guess richer sounds may have delivered by now!

Stuby

Ordered through richer sounds with a further tenner off. Thank you @George_Davies

George_Davies

Speakers arrived and they are genuinely brilliant! (y)

Noclouds

Me too. Your deal is great, £40 cheaper than Amazon, I assumed the Costco deal was a very obvious wild goose chase spec mix up but what a mess, I wonder how many people Costco pissed off and what, if anything, they will do to make good with dissapointed customers, I've been fairly impressed with their customer service in the past, they have now removed all of their Klipsch speaker offers (there were three different Klipsch offers). They initially amended the details of the R-41 mix up and their price for the R-41M, if even that was correct, was about £40 cheaper than elsewhere (though the last time I looked, the pictures were still of the active model!) but now, at the time of writing this, all three Klipsch offers have been taken down.

George_Davies

Shame! Nice for checking with Costco! Would have loved to have seen that price!

Ive got 2 2.5 year old 55 inch tvs (a record for me time wise). Ones a curved qled (samsung), others an oled (LG). Got both in sales via hotukdeals. Im still just not seeing any reason to replace either other than maybe size. The qled is the slightly better set overall for everyday use and the Oled slightly better for Movies, I rate both excellent. I wont game on the oled after seeing what Sniper 4 (Xbox) did to a friends oled, having to have the screen replaced because of burn in. What do you rate as the best current tvs over 55'' but under 1200 quid?

xybp9

wait for glorious years to view any actual content in 8K on your 8K TV!

Uns

Completely agree. Can get an LG CX, or if you don't want an OLED then a Q95t, for this sort of money.

Kear

55" 8K made me XD save £100 and get the LG Oled CX

baldybouncer

Why are these being posted? They wouldn't be a deal at half price - picture is garbage - blurry image with poor blacks, dirty screen and blooming from backlight. Save your money and buy an OLED.
