Gulp........really geneorous

I need a new desk and a few stationary items but they do seem v. expensive on here.

Does anyone know what the cheapest item over £39 +VAT is

I have one of these camcorders - and they are absolutely useless.

£10 cash.......£16 exchange at CEX if it is that bad and you happen to be spending money in Staples anyway.....lol

I got this ages ago from Staples or Viking as a freebie. It's completely useless as a camcorder, and not much better as a webcam. Really this offer isn't worth placing an order for. Im having a giggle at the photo of the woman with the velcro strap on her hand, like its holding a weighty camcorder safely.... this thing is thin flimsy plastic, probably weighs about 200g!

the idea is to sell the camcorder so your actual purchased item is less...that's unless you want the free camcorder :santa:

"girls alound" :whistling:

Useless overpriced at "free".
Staples goods are overpriced anyway.

Take the nastiest, most useless mobile phone camera you can think of, add a lens that has had a previous life as part of a bottle bottom, stick it in a plastic box and call it a video camera.

Sorry, but no thanks.

I'd be amazed if CEX or anyone of a similar ilk would give you any money for this.

Well it says generic digital camcorder so you could always try.....:santa:

but it's got 4x digital zoom ! i would pay £40 for this alone, now where's my credit card..........

Run for the hills, it has a brand!

As people have already said, this is utterly rubbish, I had on a while ago which I paid a stupid amount of money for, used it once then stuck it on ebay and got a fiver for it. Save you money and buy a decent steak for tea instead

digital zoom is utterly ****, all it does is blur the picture. you want optical zoom!

Do a search on all the other Staples freebies ... they're a waste of time. They usually come back and say for business only.

Then the product itself - a free digital camcorder on a £39 order. Come on ... get serious It will have a CMOS sensor it, which is the sort they put in children's digital cameras and which are absolutely utterly useless. Go to ]this thread that everyone voted really hot, then read the comments at the end from people who actually got the camera!

You have been warned!

Looks like some people haven't worked out the Staples business model. Basically they exist as a place where people go with petty cash to purchase stuff for the office. Not for people to spend their own money! If you have been given £50 from petty cash to go to staples to get a box of biros, some dry wipe pens, some copier paper, some lever arch files and calculator batteries then it's worth klnowing about this camera so you can give it away as a secret santa present and save yourself a tenner.
