No probs! Yeah I got one for my brother in law too who’s coming to the gig. Really happy I managed to get this
Thanks! Managed to get one.
These are great. Back in stock now just managed to get 2 thanks a lot OP bought tickets to their Nottingham show only last night
Been listening to them for a few months and didn't know the connection. Now I know I can't not hear it. I am a U2 fan but this sounds like they raided his record collection. Lots of early u2 influences rather than influenced by U2. I say that cos weirdly U2 were the one hand from late 70s, early 80s I didn't compare them too. Lol

It Won't Always Be Like This - Inhaler Black 12" Vinyl £6.99 + £3.95 P&P - £10.94 @ Universal Music£10.94£20.9948% off
Great album from the son of U2's Bono with their debut album only £6.99 on vinyl - help them hit number 1!
I think the word “ Botched” is bit harsher then , I would say. Yes it is true to say you have a point with your second post , but is still a good price for what you get but may be if you want this issue go for the CD released album has it will be a lesser flat sound then this vinyl or just buy Snap on vinyl.
Regarding this Vinyl release.... What an immature response. I'm not a "hater" - I'm telling you that this has been widely reported to be poor quality (unlike the original Nice Time tri-colour pressing) - AND it's not a box set as listed it's a gatefold designed for 2 discs with 3 discs in it, using hard card liners instead of poly liners - result : damaged vinyl. If you want to embrace poor quality recordings and inferior products go right ahead but I'm not going to allow your negativity to discourage me from giving helpful feedback to real music fans! https://forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/the-jam-audio-quality-on-about-the-young-idea.760798/ etc..
Much difference between this and the CD boxset direction reaction creation (or however it is)?
Tempted but think i'll just put Snap! on and be done with it.
I’m tempted but not gonna click just yet but I really hate, haters on anything, ‘botched pressing’ have you purchased the album and found ‘botched’ pressing? What if someone come across this deal and thought, I’ve got £15 spare I might just add this to my collection, no harm done, so do one with your negativity, people like stuff so get over it ;(

The Jam 'Sound Affects' vinyl album. 180g reissue with download codes £9.99 +£3.95 delivery @ Universal Music£13.94
Sound Affects was originally released in November 1980 at a time when The Jam was considered the biggest band in Britain. The album followed the band’s first number one single – Go… Read more
I would rather watch her than Paul weller lol fair play but she I better to look at lol
I think this may be The Czech Republic press? But a great price for a great vinyl.
“Cardigans“ are a good band then.... (flirt)
Its too difficult to say which is the best Jam album because they are so varied and each has 4 or 5 stunning tracks. Instead I bought the definitive CD version with every track from every album. The Jam are one of a generation band. They produced a massive amount of material over a short period of time and left a heritage for all time.

I first bought it in 1975 (orange capitol label) Then again when Cds came along. Then found a mono first press at the car boot for a fiver. An album that good deserves to be bought more than once.
Now £9.99 plus delivery.
Great price for this classic that should be part of every vinyl collection. Heat
Not trying to be snobby, but if it’s a vinyl press from a digital master then it’s pointless. True vinyl is analogue all the way from recording, to master, to press. Some bands have actually released new vinyl versions from their analogue masters, Radiohead’s OK Computer being one, white stripes being another. I’ve recorded analogue all the way in Toe Rag studios and pressed to vinyl, and then recorded digital at rockfield and listened digitally. You can totally tell the difference. If you’re going to have digital at some point in the chain, keep it digital and listen to it digitally.
Classic. Also same price on Amazon.

The Who - My Generation Vinyl £12.94 (With Code) delivered @ UMusic£12.94
Thanks for that I assumed the duplicate tracks where mixes or something. Ordered
According to Discogs.com every version of the album under the product code listed on the store's website (8811110314) does indeed contain Son Of A Preacher Man, so I expect they just cocked up the tracklisting. It is a confusing tracklist anyway, as you've got quotes from the movie included, so somebody just probably missed it when they typed it up. Edit: They definitely cocked it up, as they've listed six of the tracks twice. Here's the actual tracklist: A1a –No Artist Pumpkin And Honey Bunny A1b –Dick Dale & His Del-Tones Misirlou A2 –No Artist Royale With Cheese A3 –Kool & The Gang Jungle Boogie A4 –Al Green Let's Stay Together A5 –The Tornadoes Bustin' Surfboards A6 –Ricky Nelson (2) Lonesome Town A7 –Dusty Springfield Son Of A Preacher Man A8a –No Artist Zed's Dead, Baby A8b –The Centurians* Bullwinkle Part II B1a –No Artist Jack Rabbit Slims Twist Contest B1b –Chuck Berry You Never Can Tell B2 –Urge Overkill Girl, You'll Be A Woman Soon B3 –Maria McKee If Love Is A Red Dress (Hang Me In Rags) B4b –The Revels Comanche B5 –The Statler Brothers Flowers On The Wall B6 –No Artist Personality Goes A Long Way B7 –The Lively Ones Surf Rider B8 –No Artist Ezekiel 25:17
I was looking at this earlier something doesnt look right with the track listing I've had a look around and other vinyl I've seen have son of a preacher man etc but according to this site it isn't on there can anyone confirm it is and their site as cocked up the listing? Thanks.
May well have been, but it's not currently. HMV website says it is £9.99, plus it's sold out
