This is actually a good price. Average price i see atm for an olympic bar is 150 pounds so this is good. Only thing i see is pre order for July 17 which is long and gyms are rumoured to open around july 4th/6th . Purchase depends if you will need it after the gym opens i think if it does open then..
I did this
Perhaps not but spamming the site with 10* different but similar items from the same shop/few shops will always get people's backs up. One strength shop post with the best deal and the other items as comments may have done better, I suspect what will happen now is people will systematically cold vote all of them, just to make a point without actually knowing/caring if cheap or not. *I haven't counted
Ah yeah i definitely own strength shop :) Please don't tell the Mods I own mirafit and powerhouse fitness too? And Then wolverton and rouge? Rebel strength strength? I must own half the industry
Just bought their 2028 bar, arrived next day in the morning and all good so far.
1st glance at the tiny picture on the listing, I though it was on a magic floating pallet.
I'm sure you must have better things to do on a Saturday night than carry on an argument on a deals website. But alas, it does appear that is what a few of you want to do. If this carries on we will have to issue out further infractions and suspensions (as well as infractions on any existing hotukdeals accounts where someone may create another ID to carry on the arguing). Leave it alone chaps. Please.
Its a B grade bar in relation to their A grade brand new bars. Doesn't make it less of a premium bar because its a grade B. Still better then the Mirafit bars even at Grade B. I'm struggling to see your point
The specifications, the finish, the fact that it's new. My point was not that it's not a decent bar, or that it's a good price in relation to other bars. My point is that if a company sells their own stuff, and nobody else sells it they can claim it's a discounted price when RRP has been set for discount. This is a used/B grade bar anyway, so hardly much of a great deal if you are looking for a premium bar.
Yes, does look like it at first glance, purchased one of these before the lockdown, nice bit of kit that has helped me
I don't know. I have frozen my gym membership until early October. The garage gym is working for me at the moment and I'm not sure how restrictive the gym will be in terms of equipment available or time allowed.
60mm wide at the front/buckle, tapering up to 100mm wide at the back. I previously had a belt like this. I found it difficult to brace against the belt on heavy lifts and eventually bought a belt 100mm wide for the whole length of the belt. I have found this better although for a few uses I got significant bruising around the hip bone and/or lower ribs until the belt softned.
Hi , i am a member of puregym and the app says max capacity is 119 ppl at any time , so it would seem its first come first serve from saturday , i also presume that when its full , your pin code wont let you in. This will go on for a month and then probably get a bit lax enforcing the rules , what are your guys prediction for when the gym opens ?
Is the lever belt better than prong? Seems like a faff buckling and unbuckling all the time with the pins? Whereas with lever it’s easier and quicker to tension? Thoughts?
