The code, which you need to enter before completing the payment stage of the booking process, will expire at 11.59pm on Thu 29 Dec – or as soon as it's been used 15,000 times, whichever’s first.



It's valid on both 'saver' rooms (non-refundable, non-amendable) and the more expensive 'flexible' rate (cancel or amend up to midday on date of arrival without charge), but only when booking online and paying upfront.

Disappointing as it is also on the MSE news letter so it is more than likely legit... some cretin at TL probably forgot to set the promo to live...

Would imagine that this would take some time for 15k bookings to be made, but if I miss out I will be annoyed...

Not working.... even received an email from them today at 00.16 saying get 26% off using code BOXINGDAY

Frustrating considering if you enter any code 3 times "in error" it will not allow you to enter any further discount codes. My 3 rooms were increased by Travelodge (last few days) from £29 for a Double Rm & £36 Triple room to £37 & £47 respectively so they have simply increased room costs to virtually cover the "big Boxing Day" offer (cheap trick really) so although I need the rooms I am certainly not booking without a discount.

Yes so it's better to wait until other people have said the code works. From what I've read the code is not working at all yet even though it's 48 minutes into Boxing Day

I believe so in the past I have attempted codes & on the 3rd attempt it says something like "we are now unable to accept a discount code for this booking" so I empty basket log out, go back in but it somehow knows the history by pre-filling the hotel, date etc and will not permit any code. Hopefully the fact this would appear to be their error they will wipe any history, but I am not holding my breath!

that sounds annoying but it will be sessional or something, a different computer should work, not like they are (or can) blacklisting you personally

Just get whoever your staying with to do it then when the code is live or try on a different device

Usually I get the 3 times expiry error but tonight I'm just getting the not recognised quote so I don't think it will kick you off. Pain in the **** though. The Covent Garden rooms I need are ludicrously priced without this code and I'm shattered!

The history is on your own computer stored in the 'cookies'. Either clear the cookies (google how to do it for your browser) or use a different browser.

Just worked for me. Entered with all caps, no spaces. 26% discount applied.

Nice bit of false advertising Travelodge... I've now booked with the better hotel chain.. Premier Inn
