I've been looking for a petrol strimmer for my allotment. This one certainly looks a good price, but what is the quality like?... The reviews on True-Shopping make it sound brilliant (do they filter them?), however the reviews on Amazon (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Trueshopping®-Petrol-Strimmer-Brushcutter-2-Stroke/dp/B004JMHRKQ/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8) are less complimentary. hmm... shall I or shan't I?

had problems with mine a week after the 12 months guarantee even though I had hardly used it. They weren't interested and wanted to sell me a new carburetor and throttle assembly. Buyers beware!
Would recommend adding a 'bump feed' head for an extra £4.79. Takes all the stress out of pulling cord through. http://www.trueshopping.co.uk/product/Trueshopping_Bump_Feed_Nylon_Strimmer_Head/5179/55826.html

Get ready for spring with this petrol brushcutter/strimmer
LOL - its a towel rail FFS! What do you expect one to look like? Great price - HOT!
Look on ebay for towel radiators. There is some at amazing buy-it-now prices ( for example flat white ones at £20 delivered - and from Bristan a renown manufacturer). This 1200x600 in chrome ( curved style) is available for £61 delivered ( or you can save £8 and collect in birmingham). There are lots of other sizes and styles/finishes. Simply enter "towel radiator" and the width required in the search box ( if you definately want chrome put that in the search field too) ,then use the the drop down box to sort by price+p&p . If 940 x 600mm is big enough for you then there is a curved chrome one at £46.99 delivered ( and its a Jaga Helios brand with a 10 year guarantee).
This one is slightly cheaper with more heat output (think that's better or maybe it's not?). Seem very similar products to me. http://www.firstbathrooms.co.uk/heatwise_1180_x_600mm_chrome_curved_heated_towel_rai-p-10415.html Anyone in the trade no any different? Granted there is delivery on the one in the link but already getting shower and bath from them anyway. Cheers
EHH! My plumber supplied them oO as these were included in the price for my bathroom refit.:D
Hi Hotscot, so did you go back to Trueshopper and purchase your angled rad valves or pop into your local b&q and pick up a pair? Inuboy

double check valves allow water to pass through only in one direction...you should have one ...by law..on your outside tap, though most 'outside taps' these days have them built in for an extra £1 or so.....
I very much doubt these are WRAS approved. If not I would not be using these or any other self respecting plumber would use either. Sometimes it does not pay to buy cheap. A double check vlave servers an important pupose in preventing backflow I dont want to be using one that costs 60p. Pay the extra and by quality WRAS fittings.
yeah right :thumbsup::-D:p
Imagine my horror went I finally decided to take the plunge and order one, only to find out its not 60p at all !!!! Devastated :?
I very much doubt it. Give us a supplier name or two? No - the Toolstation ones are isolating valves. The Trueshopping ones are double check valves - quite different. T rueshopping has a lot of other plumbing stuff at generally good prices, e.g. straignt service valve 15mm 72p. Things like towel rads are fairly priced too. Some reasonable tool prices also. Not difficult to make up a carriage-free order when the whole range is considered.
