Uber is based around its app. Without it, there would be no cab booking service, so all users need to install it for their iPhones, Android phones, Windows devices or tablets before they can book the firm’s services.
The app allows you to enter your payment details, link to PayPal accounts, make bookings and see maps, find out about drivers and access Uber’s help centre. You can download it from Google Play or the iTunes store. There’s also a special app for Windows devices, which can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store.
