myHermes Discount Promotion Blog

Christmas has come early at myHermes with the parcel delivery giant offering discounts for customers who spend over £10.

From the 10th October until the 23rd October, customers sending parcels over £10 can use discount code ‘SAVE5’ to receive a 5% discount on their parcel delivery, and customers sending parcels over £20 can use discount code ‘SAVE10’ to receive a 10% discount.

So all customers need to do is to send two 5kg parcels to start saving. It’s a great excuse to get your Christmas shopping done early!

These codes can be used on two transactions and the higher the weight of the parcel, the more discount can be given.

With a 95% delivery rate for our two day ParcelShop service, customers will receive a service better than the average “second class”.

One of the very last delivery companies that I would ever use, even if it was a 90% discount.

Their 95% delivery rate involves leaving parcels anywhere they can to avoid having to make a repeat visit.
My Hermes always gets a bad rap. Yet I use them for my business and they have cut my claims the parcel hasn't arrived to zero. If you would rather pay more for Royal Mail's Lets Hope It Gets There and We Can't Tell You If It Has Or Hasn't service then go ahead.
Only ever had 4 damaged/lost parcels out of close to 200 now, even then there system isn't exactly the best when it comes to claims but they do seem to pay quickly, so much better than RM, 5kg parcel with myhermes 6 quid, royal mail 14 quid.

Will continue to use them for the foreseeable future
Use my hermes daily, i have sent well over 4000 parcels in the last 2 years with maybe 2 breakages and at a push 2 gone missing, i also use royal mail and get atleast 2-3 go missing a week in contrast. As mentioned the insurance side is far better with my hermes, the process is simple, they pay out quickly and they pay the price of the sale where as the claims process for royal mail involves everything but giving your DNA and they only pay out the cost price of the missing item to you which can potentially cost you money if the customer gets the hump at there parcel going missing or getting broken and decides to cancel the sale as a result.
