Nice tiles :) You can get £10 off £150 order if you subscribe to their newsletter (wait for few minutes for pop up message)
Thick tiles are also not very good with underfloor heating (source: experience!)
Looks good, but unfortunately the dado tiles I'm after are cheaper in Homebase at the moment.
Good deal! For those that have a bit of time, once you've picked a colour scheme (seeing what works in a shop) order some samples first. As someone who's recently gone through a run of bathroom tile purchasing, I've found that some tiles can be really bad, especially if they're on the lower quality end of the scale. Look out for things like an obvious 'printed' effect with really large 90's inject printer style dots, reddish ceramic colouring at the edges and lippage and unevenness - where the middle of the tile is thicker than the edges. Also, on the other end of the spectrum, if you decide on expensive tiles which can often be thicker, be careful the weight is safe for it to be adhered to the type of wall you have. For instance, with real heavy marble, some builders recommend not tiling up to the ceiling in case it falls off and injures someone.
