I have absolutely no idea about availability of different configs, etc. Phone them and ask?

Great price indeed, but can't seem to I crease the ram size on the Mac Mini M1. Is there an option?

Tried to price match with John Lewis but no luck. This is not the first time a legit price match got rejected...

In store and online, use code MAC10 at checkout to get 10% off Macs only. Supposed to be a one day only offer.

This is still valid until the end of today

Lol, think they do interest free over 10 months. Although I do accept they’re expensive but in my experience work well. Tend to have some resale value also.

Fab! Should be able to afford one of these now, according to my pay-day loans app!

I understand that they offer. Two year warranty also.

@davidbroom Yikes! Maybe if I return mine they could send it to you so you're not waiting so long! I hope you get some proper help from them and your laptop a lot quicker than the estimated date. I just asked customer services again about the UK Consumer Law issue and they're still being very sketchy on it. The first person pretended it didn't exist. It's been like pulling teeth trying to get hold of anyone in customer services. Think I might bite the bullet and return then order directly from Apple. What a pain in the bum, I really wanted to save the 10% off but not if we get stuck further down the line if there are any problems.

I’ve just chased my order placed on 30th Nov (which is still saying ‘processing’) and ‘Pete’ told me the expected delivery day is 9th Feb 2021! Not a good start!

Oh no, @Oflyy , what a balls up! I hope DHL are responsive in sorting the mess out. Any joy yet? I'm a bit put off after my conversation with Western Computer on their online chat. Eventually got a reply to my question of 'will you uphold the 6yr UK Consumer Law like Apple claim to' and they just said 'I don't think EU law will apply anymore'. I said 'no, it's UK law' and never got another response. Now I'm contemplating returning unopened and paying more through Apple just incase there are manufacturing issues found further down the line. Ugh. Anyone have any experiences with Western Computer when it comes to UK Consumer Law after the 2yr warranty period?

Fingers crossed it arrives for you today. Mine is just running migration assistant now, only 15hrs remaining.

I'm still hoping mine comes today but still have no tracking number yet

Got a delivery notification from DHL this morning and has just been delivered. No contact from Western and their website order system still shows 'processing'. Good job I had leave booked in for today!

Yes I believe that's what they mean, leave the order with them (not other as I said above) and they will give you 10% off other 'stuff'. I am already in to them for 3 weeks so will leave it with - the EPP deal through Apple brings it down to £939 but they're still quoting a month to deliver, hopefully Western be quicker and the additional years warranty over Apple.

A further 10% off of another order is how I read it. Pretty annoyed to be honest. Just ordered a silver one on Amazon for £100 more :/

I ordered 29th Nov (Space grey 8GB Air) and an email yesterday said they couldn't guarantee delivery before Christmas. They are offering a further 10% off "Mac, AirPods and accessories" if you leave the other with them. Apple store currently quoting 3-4 weeks delivery.

I emailed yesterday to ask for an update on when they are expecting stock to come in to fulfil backorders. I got a reply saying that as it stands my order is expected to be dispatched on 31/12/2020. He said that bear in mind they'll do their best to improve the shipping time, and so it might be dispatched before then, but I'm not holding my breath. I think they probably sold a boat load of these over the BF weekend and hadn't anticipated anywhere near the amount of orders they got lol.

John Lewis got back to me saying no. "We've checked with Western Computers and we’re unable to accept the price match on this occasion. This is because this competitor is not a retailer we price match at present as they're selling graded stocks."

Won't let me add to basket. Even clearing selection and trying again not working for.me. Have tried with different browsers too

I see the logic as it’s essentially a MacBook without a display so it should work... if it does it not is another thing

Very impressed with the reviews of theses seems to be a game changer.. battery life on the MacBooks is impressive. I currently have a 16macbook I think I need to sell it quickly before the m1 version comes out and the value drops like a stone

24 months interest free on apple computers @ Western Computers
This looks like a great way to be able to spread the cost of a new apple computer. If you want a new apple computer then take a look. If you don’t, that’s ok too, but no need to le… Read more

Wasn't referring to any return on the savings, although if you stuck £50 away each month in the government help to save scheme you would have an extra £600 on top of your £1200 after 24 months. I was meaning the tech/cost would have improved by the time the loan is paid.

Or buy a better computer for cheaper.

Yea with that .5% interest lol

Better idea - Put the money in to a saving account for 24 months and at the end you'll be able to buy a much better spec'd machine. Or more likely you'll have changed your mind and decided you didn't waste 2 years paying for a PC. (lol)

Some of the stock Western Computer listed online isn't available for purchase. So unless you live near their stores you are out of luck which makes your deal rather exclusive to certain areas only. Also their prices aren't earth shattering. £939.97 Amazon Apple iMac (21.5 Inch, 2.3 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB Fusion Drive) - Silver (Latest Model) https://www.amazon.co.uk/Apple-iMac-MMQA2-Intel-2300/dp/B071X66K62/ £1049.00*0.9=£944.10 (10% off with your secret insider info code) Western Computer https://www.western.co.uk/products/product-details.aspx?ProductID=5518 I can't even get to checkout with these iMacs, keep saying "We're sorry, this product is currently out of stock for online purchases." Cheers (strong)

Are you stupid? Do they both have the very latest, full range of iPads and Macs, brand new with 2 years warranty? No, they definitely don't, in fact neither do.

Not really, based on experience Amazon warehouse has some good finds. It's easy to return regardless, even within 2 years. On eBay there's no problem buying from a well established seller. eBay and PayPal have the buyer covered. Cheers

Where is 20% Amazon for latest macbook pro or ipad pro

Ah, what a surprise, you are totally wrong. Warehouse is second hand junk, and whilst you may get lucky and find the MacBook, iMac etc. spec that you want on eBay, it's unlikely to have 2 years warranty, and again could be used or faulty. Like-for-like if you would, cheers.
