Yeah bibs are good, I wore these for a 25 mile 1k metres open moorland in the Pennine heat on Saturday , very comfortable and cool to wear under regular mtb shorts and T-shirt, Definately rate them, I binned the regular endura liner as they offered nothing
Probably the only time I can ask the Mrs “Does my bum look big in this”?
Great price but a cycling bib is what you want. Shorts move around unless you’re doing 10 miles or less; then these are great.
Me too, the odds of suffering a life changing injury in a car crash are much higher than falling off a bike. That and plod would have a word to say about it.
Does it come in xxl?
A seat belt has never saved my life while driving but I wear one every time.
I personally wear a helmet for 99% of my riding and encourage my child to do the same. Realistically however the odds of coming off my bike are no worse than walking along the pavement, it simply doesn't happen often at all. If we throw fast moving and large vehicles into the mix then the capabilities of 200gms of polystyrene versus a cement lorry are questionable. Of a number of things that could make road riding safer, a helmet is pretty low down the list. A German study showed 47% of all head injuries in Germany were from vehicle occupants. Helmets in cars would save more lives! :D
I'm always only half a size up in Salomon shoes. Need an 11.5 (11 too small, 12 too big).
Got these buying a size up considering comments here; Looks good quality but I should have bought my usual size. Now returning it via Asda which seems to be free indeed.
Got mine in the lighter colour. Love them. Oh to feel your feet breath. Never had walking boots or shoes that didn't have Gore-tex. Wearing with no show thinner Rohan socks. Thanks!
mine are lovely, went 1/2 size bigger fit great very good for the £
I use gortex water proof hiking boots and merino wool socks. What works for you as in everyone is personal preference so I hope I'm not sounding judgemental of anyone's preference. In my experience if your out all day your happy if your feet are happy. To me that means dry feet. My cherished Salomon hiking boots started leaking one day and I found walking with my favourite socks wet was unbearable. Looking for replacement Salomon boots I found in my opinion that the quality of boots appears cheaper and ... They have stopped making a size 13. Dissapointed. I have about 6 pairs of the trail .type Salomon's and love the them but prefer boots with ankle support for days out walking. A few occasions ankle support has helped. I didn't find Salomon customer service experience helpful trying to buy another pair
So you do. Tbh I have Hope cranks and they're more than enough, but thanks!
You get the included tool to take off the double and replace with a single, far cheaper than buying just the arms even before selling on the spares
Yeah not much difference, I got a set as I’ve always wanted some and to shorten crankset on my main bike and I’m passing over the kit onto my hardtail XT seems to be £130-140 everywhere for arms, (Merlin £150 with Cr) so not that much more if you sell on the double crankset and spare tool Slightly lower weight and look snazzier

Was briefly tempted by this but I already have XT cranks and I can't really see any benefits to XTR apart from very slight reduced weight? I did want to switch from 175mm to 170mm but I can get XT cranks for £105 so think I'll just go with them.
It's not that it doesn't work, but clamping the down tube, however well achieved, has the potential to damage the finish of the frame. Also, since tubes are all shapes and sizes, grip may not be ideal. I had some trouble clamping a steel frame in a similar rack to the Argos one because of how thin the down tube was.
I’ve got a Seasucker which it looks like they’ve replicated the design from. Good product.
have a carbon frame bike and the Argos one works just fine
Towbar mount > roof bars > boot mount Although this style is the most secure of the roof types. They use fork mount in pro racing and driving over the country.

Bikes and Sportswear at Wiggle UK
Wiggle started out in the late 1990s when entrepreneur Mitch Dall purchased cycling store in Portsmouth called Butlers Cycles. However, Dall had big plans for the business. Seeing that cycling was bound to boom, and a passionate cyclist himself, he also noticed that the internet was due to take off, and realised that online commerce would thrive as a result.
After rebranding Butler’s as Wiggle in 1999, Dall steered Wiggle into a period of constant expansion, as the firm became the number one online cycling retailer in the UK. A buyout followed in 2009, and Wiggle began to branch out. From its traditional base as a cycling specialist, it added running and swimming to its repertoire, becoming a general fitness merchant in the process.
