Hey @CluedUp thanks for sharing your first deal :)
I haven’t had to use mine yet, but great idea for when we go camping
I keep an eye on mine had it about 6 months and had only lost 10% of it's charge
In my experience it wasn't, if i was planning a long drive i would charge it, but i had one time that id not done it for about 8 months, and helped someone at a petrol station, i think if you needed to turn over the car multiple times it would fail, but i didn't need to, it had enough for it to get going first time, im basing this on my personal experience, ive just been in a situation when "all i needed" was a jump and i couldn't get one, so having this in the boot is a must for me, mine also came with a in car charger (ironic i guess) but im sure that could be setup to trickle charge if it was a worry.
Won’t the battery on this device be dead if it’s in the boot of the car for 6 months?

Summit 320L Textured Black Roof Box £99.99 delivered at Wilco Direct£99.99 Free P&P Free
Was looking around for a decent sized, secure, waterproof roof box and came across this from a brand I recognised with free mainland UK delivery- Featuring a secure access system… Read more
Not yet, just fitted the roof bars yesterday and won't need the box for a couple of weeks yet. I'm not expecting Thule quality at this price point but I've no reason to think it will be any worse than a budget 320L box at £150.
Have you been out in it? What’s the road noise like? Can’t see any reviews online.
Ordered yesterday and it arrived this afternoon already! Looks good, took about 5 minutes to assemble.

could I fry my chips in this oil ? what's the Cholesterol like?
WOW that's a good deal if your car drinks a lot! or if you have a garage?
Wow thats a lot of oil! Heat OP.
Depends on year & engine size what oil. Google Valvoline europe & put you reg in. The site will give you fluids & it is just a case of converting to a cheaper brand. Good chance your car will still take semi synthetic which is far cheaper

polly69, shouldn't be a problem using this active sub on a stock stereo, just split the iginition cable off the back of the stereo and the split the rear speaker cables and use the speaker level inputs on the sub.
Same as me ive got a banging system in my car and i use to have it on full blast but now i sometimes don't even take my head unit out and when i do i have it on low. If your cars stock this wont be worth having at all and your stock stereo wont have pre amp leads anyway. I have a Panasonic head unit, in the front doors a pair on infinity components with cross overs, in the back i have a stealth shelf with a set of high power JBL's and a 15 inch pioneer sub in the boot but its one of the old ones that are a stupid amount of power something like 1200watts rms i also have 3 amps ones a Kicker class1 amp for the sub a fusion for the fronts and a JL audio amp for the rear. It was all professionally installed with massive gauge cable all made by Kicker and a massive Kicker fuse holder under the bonnet and oh yes a uprated battery.
Review of Product I'm liking the alloy exterior.
Still need to run a power cable off the battery through the fire wall. I've found this to be the pain in the past, easiest part is pulling up the seals around the doors to run the cabling through to the boot. I had 2 10" Rockford Fosgate 400w rms each, then a JBL active tube, finally a Blaupunkt small active sub, getting quieter as I get older lol

Buy a kenwood or pinoneer. The top brands have bad enough software let alone these cheap crap ones. I have a KDC-W7544 it has usb mp3, aux, ipod support, CD, mp3 CD, 3 rca out and was well worth the around £100. Its so feature packed and the sound quality is amazing. It also has amazing LED's/backlight on it, you have to see them to appreciate them. They do a version with bluetooth too. Shows the song playing on the radio on the screen. Also has support for dash displays and steering wheel remote stalks - via 3rd party adapters. I used to have a KDC-w5031 which was aux,mp3 CD/CD with 2 rca out and that was also very good!
